Wall hacks are literally useless

If you’re a good player, you always know where the enemy team is. Wall hacks are only utilized (barely) by snipers, and neither Widow or Hanzo can one shot anymore.

The Symmetra change is actually dog water. Revert the turret damage, keep everything else.

She’s supposed to be a Damage hero. Dying to sentry turrets is genuinely a skill issue, not a balancing issue.

I just feel the need to point out, they both can still 1 shot most characters.

I was curious about what game they were playing.

It’s a part of her kit? They’re glowing and loud spherical objects highlighted in red with 30 HP. The easiest thing to counter in the game, so much you don’t even need to switch to a certain hero to deal with them, because every hero can.

Not as consistently or as safely as they used to. This doesn’t change what I said.

It makes what you said outright false. You should say what you said in your response rather than say something blatantly untrue. It weakens your argument.

A good player is more than clicking on a body to deal damage though. Builders need to use map geometry to their absolute advantage. Anyone can throw 3 turrets on a door and call it quits but getting proper value out of them still takes some effort.

If they’re so useless, it shouldn’t matter how much damage they do.

Why people act like hitscan is the hardest thing in the game blows my mind. Projectile heroes are objectively more difficult to deal damage consistently with.

They weren’t entirely useless, now they are. But low ranked players complained about them so they got nerfed.

You got what you wanted I guess.

I don’t disagree, but both Torb and Sym’s turrets were nerfed because they give value for very little effort.

You can blame low ranked players all you want, but all she is is more skill dependant and less faceroll now. So that’s on you.

Why do they ruin sym again and again.

Her kit is now even more of a mess

A shield as an ult
A beam for damage
Balls that explode on impact
Turrets that now show where the enemy is
And a teleporter

The most random mish mash kit known to man.

I mean whats the effort in throwing Cass nade? or hacking a target? or shooting a sonic arrow at an area?

Alot of things give tons of value for 0 effort.

Widow can do up to 300 in 1 shot, she can ohk 3 tanks in open queue

Hanzo can do up to 240 in 1 shot, the only non-tanks who will survive are Reaper, Bastion, Mei, and I think Torbjorn.

And I’m all for nerfing all of those things aside from sonic arrow.

Sonic arrow doesnt bother me but im just stating that alot of abilities in the game are mostly effortless for the value they provide.

Turrets just need to be destroyed. On the other hand baiting or dodging Cass nade is not that easy. As for hack? Nearly impossible.

They can’t? Last I checked they still can.

It’s a ratio of value to effort. Turrets provided too much value for very little effort, devs nerfed them. Cass nade is in the same boat and I wouldn’t be surprised if we see it get nerfed or changed down the road. Sonic arrow provides value but not enough to warrant a change.
