I wonder if he thought the Sombra would be nearby waiting or something, but yeah it’s weird they just immediately moved past the teleporter.

I don’t know if Sombra can see a low health Sombra when she’s cloaked. Thinking about it, if she can - Pelican’s teammate could have called it out where she was.

Yeah Happy only started shooting when he was in front of Lip so it was not shooting randomly to spy check.
Happy’s teammate might have seen the low health Sombra in stealth, and could have called it out. They had their own Sombra so they can see low health targets. I just don’t know if they can see a low health cloaked Sombra.
If she can, that’d explain it. They communicate well.
What about the first one? You don’t find it suspicous?
A little, but it could also just be a “i want to shoot at something even if it’s a wall” sort of thing, idk.
If you watch it closely you can see that Pelican shot at the silhouette of Zest behind the wall and then, as if realizing that he just kind of gave it away, shot a different spot on the left to make it less suspicous.
Possibly? I don’t know, it could be suspicious but I just think he was shooting sporadically. I could be wrong, though, I really have no particular feeling on it.

First was probably just checking corners for sombra, not shooting at the Tracer. Second probably not that unreasonable to assume theyre nearby - TL on a medkit but low health.
Nothing suss about it at all.
That’s the behavior of someone who is experienced. You don’t even have to be considered good. Just understand how players think.

Are you sure Sombra can see low HP and stealthed enemy Sombra?
If Happy was shooting at other places around the medkit before hitting Lip then sure, but no, he only started shooting right at Lip after going past the TL and turning a corner.
If that was a normal behavior you would have seen him do that at other occassions.
Not always. Anyway, there’s nothing that even faintly seems sus about that to me. Growing up playing FPS games that just what happens with experience.
Not sure what else to tell you.
And if you aren’t familiar with checking corners, then it would be no surprise why you don’t understand why this is normal.

Well, pelican saw lip to the left of mega for a moment before lip cloaked. Looks sus, but probably just info and luck

I thought about this too but we did see from Pelican’s POV when he went to the mega (from 1:34:46) and Lip was nowhere in sight.
You can prefire stuff when you expect enemies there, you know
he was chasing enemy and prefired into healthpack, nothing fancy

Watch it again. He did not shoot at the corner. He shot at a spot on the wall that was pretty far from the entrance and exactly where Zest was.
He shot about a meter to the left of the healthpack, though.

He did, he saw dash and expected it to land near healthpack, but tracer went outside of the building.

When Pelican saw the inside of the room, Zest was already outside and barely visible. There is no way Zest could have blinked into the health pack.
Are we watching the same video? First burst 1 meter to the left of healthpack, second burst even farther left.
By the way, the pack wasn’t even available.
