. Is he referring to PvE here? If so does this mean we can expect PvE bosses to be as unique and varied as heroes like Kiriko? If so then I am super extra hyped!
If the stuff that journalist have seen is true that means she has been planned a hero ages ago which could mean project titan pve.
The article they posted says she was originally designed for pve, yeah. They didn’t specify in what capacity though so the dev update clarified.
What this implies, to me, is that there is probably a lot more PvE content exists than we think. Surely ‘ecology boss unit’ and (from the article) ‘Kiriko’s concept art was originally drafted for a PvE enemy from the ninja ecology’ = there’s a ninja faction of enemies? Probably the Hashimoto clan, if that’s who Kiriko is up against? I’d probably guess that they’re not the only new enemied faction, too. Junkers sound like a good candidate, or at least something in that space. Deadlock gang too, maybe?
It’s hilarious how every tiny bit of information for PvE is so inherently exciting. It cannot come sooner.

My assumption is they were implying Project Titan. We know leaks of her have been around for a very long time so I could see them taking that design and bringing it to OW2. Id love to see Project Titan get resurrected one day though. Lord knows WoW struggles to even remotely hook me as an MMO fan these days. An OW centered one could be amazing

Same. Still can tell the cinematic seems well done which for all Blizzards faults is not shocking given how absolutely insane their animation teams are. STILL blows me away we havent received a proper Overwatch, WoW, or Diablo animated series. Lord know they would make a killing with that type of quality
I think there will be PvE elements of her story and ninja clan, y’all have to understand they’ve been working on this PvE for like 3 years now, no telling how much stuff they have orchestrated, I think when they finally reveal it ppl are gonna be blown away
As long as it isnt just the events from OW1 with slight changes I think it will be awesome.
While I rather care about PvP than PvE, I thinks its a neat little hint that we can expect some cool stuff in PvE.

“She was created by narrative and hero design mostly in tandem since Kiriko’s concept art was originally drafted for a PvE enemy from the ninja ecology.”
That bit aside, I’m dying at the girl in the video at ~3:20 when she’s trying not to burst out laughing at the fact that one of Kiriko’s weapon concepts was based off a giant fidget spinner. 
Yeah idk about y’all but that shiz seemed wonky haha, I’m glad they went with a more simple design. The memes would of been glorious tho…
