I love the artwork and backstory, but damn there are way too many abilities and way too much CC.

Awful abilities. Yep, some of them may look original, but damn there is so many design flaws in them. Literally unplayable.
If you want I can come up with a better ability set for him, but Iād need to know more about the fantasy/him. Are his arms just mechanical arms or is there anything else special about them?
SunDragon: I did the concept and the skills (Iām a writer, not a designer, so I tried to give him cool skills, I know he isnāt as balanced as he could be)
Shnobz: I agree with you (I did the story and the abilities) If I could keep only one it would be the Main Fire that also works as a Shield, is an interesting mechanic and the core concept behind him as a tank
HeroPwrPass: His abilities come from manipulating the iris, like Zeny, only that Voltikko forced the connection with his extra arms, that he crafted, called the āIris Breakerā
Well the abilities seem cool in concept they are unbalanced. Mess around with the numbers or change the ability itself to be more fitting for the game. Then Iām sure it will be golden.
Honestly one of the best and most detailed concepts I have seen in a while.
When weāre making the character we discussed about it being OP as heck. But we liked the abilities too much. If I had to pick his core skill to keep would be his Attack as Shields mechanic. Because thatās what makes him unique.

Dude, a Sith omnic would be so sick. Heād be like the Halloween Zenyatta all year round.
I do like that as well. Maybe the abilities could be toned down or reworked?
Funny, because it is the worst part of him from design point of view. I mean, yes, it looks good and original on paper, but will be terrible on practice. You put 2 opposite to each other functions into one ability. It means that when you use it for blocking - you waste your main source of damage. When you use it for damaging - you waste your main source of protection. If you are in close combat you waste nothing, but become awfully OP because you can freely deal damage without receiving any damage in return. This ability alone would be a hell to balance.
It would be better two make two different abilities for LMB and RMB with different purposes, but some synergy between them. For example, make LMB a purely offensive attack and RMB some kind of combat block. And make, for example, that his LMB attacks charges his block, or vice versa.

Ok that could maybe work. Although I donāt think attack as shields is a very good mechanic, especially for a character like this whose visual presentation doesnāt particularly suggest āshieldā.
I think if you are going to make such a defining, distinct concept as āshields are damageā or such, that needs to come through visually. But no one would look at this guy and think he works that way. I look at him and think: ARMS, maybe long arms, maybe a scampering style movement ability. I looked at him and thought: āmaybe this guy can throw allied heroes. Maybe he has an unusually long ranged melee attack. Maybe he can attack with his mech arms while he attacks with his real arms.ā that sort of thing.
Just some friendly criticism from the design side. I really like the art.

This character looks awesome. Hopefully Blizzard will take note! This and the tank Triceratops design that their lead designer did on a stream recently would be wonderful. The game needs more healers and tanks.
