Whatever happened to this map? I used to love this one so much.
Instead of having more push push push can we get more chill maps back? I do not like the current state of the fast fast fast gameplay. No time to switch up your strategy you simply lost from the get-go.

the best 2cp map. perfectly playable with 5v5 format. 100times better than clash.

Man, 2CP was the original Overwatch for me. Literally my favorite mode

Honestly I hated 2CP but I would much rather have 2CP than this. But im also a bit bias since im a support main and i get eaten alive in this mode.

I just want those robots outside giant ones to walk the map and stomp any player near.
Given how much aware this playerbase has it will be a fun stomped

I’m sure the assets will be repurposed like Anubis, and hopefully Horizon Lunar Colony. I forgot which maps were 2cp and aside from these we mentioned, there’s only Paris and Hanamura

Capture the Flag is better mode than Clash. At least the play is intuitive.

Yeah, Volskaya was really fun. But I’d rather have it the way it was, instead of another reworked Clash monstrosity.

Not me, Volskya can stay dead. Hanamura was my favorite 2cp. Man, I miss feeling like I was defending/assaulting a base with 2cp.
Available in arcade mode but they nerfed curtains in the library!!! I used to shoot them and they cut in a half, but now they are indestructible

I think HLC and Paris are the only 2CP maps that didn’t ship with OW1.
Anubus, Volskaya and Hanamura were the 3 that shipped.

I love every 2CP map. It was just a skill issue that made them unpopular, but we need to quit catering to the whiners and bring them back. Whiners are responsible for most of the game’s problems.

There is a reasonable community of assault map enjoyers in arcade. It’s probably the mode that gets games the quickest. Trot over to arcade and you can play Volskaya and all the others every day (it’s not on rotation like some).
People whined about 2CP so much they removed it, that included Volskaya.
To be fair people would whine and quit, so the devs were doing what they thought people wanted.
And yet they removed a ton of lore because of it for no particular reason, plus now there are a lot more tedious maps.

I hope so, I love Volskaya, and Clash is super fun
Of all the 2cp map I’ve only disliked Paris in the end. Horizon was much better after it’s rework.
I do miss D.Va’s line “The destruction caused by the omnics here, it reminds me of home.” It gave a little more depth to her.
Plus it was fun to undercut it with a “How embarrassing!” “Pathetic.” “You should try my meatballs.” “Do you mind if I record this?” “Thank you Baptiste! Oh you’re welcome.” Etc.
