It should be mandatory. if you can’t handle having to mute the odd toxic player, quit. permanently. please!
It doesn’t change anything. If someone doesn’t want to be in voice, they will just mute very one at the start of the match.
you know peopel got perma banns for trashing tlaking right?
liek i dont join vc anymore cause i can’t controll myself.
if someone is toxic to me i will trash talk them back thus giving me and the dude a sus.
so ya i am not gonna join vc cause i actully like this game and don’t want to be banned for abusive chat and feeling depressed as poop from someone trash talking me and ruining my mood.
I got permabanned for abusive chat.
The second suspension was justified by something I said before the first.
Its automated and the only human interaction comes from a copy pasted response email with a selection of “evidence” if you’re lucky. If you’re not lucky then you get told that they aren’t allowed to discuss it further.
In other words, it’s automated and they lie to your face.
don’t you just love blizzard support
10/10. Would call someone a dickhead again
Notice how dick isn’t filtered?
But I can’t say @ss. That about sums up the pathetic state of it.
i just called them bad/trash lmao.
got sus for “abusive tone”
blizzard support should play csgo for a day if they think those are suspension worth words
The game (like all pvp games) would be so much better without any voice chat all. I remember when VC became popular in pvp games. It completely changed them for the worse. I’d rather play with no sound at all than join voice chat with randoms.
This is why. Theres at least one in every match. Muting them all is exhausting and the damage is already done. Maybe they should quit (or form a group) if they can’t handle someone not doing what they want. You aren’t my coach or my friend, so I don’t care.
Why do I get the feeling you’re one of those “odd” people.
I think what would be better than making voice chat mandatory is giving us even more tools to communicate through the game. Like they recently did when they added all of the new options for the communication wheel.
If they could just find a way to make it easier to use these communications and get more people on board with using them, I think that voice chat will be less and less important. This is probably a much better route too, since people can leave voice chat, but they can’t stop other players from using voice lines and stuff.
Not sure what you talking about, you get into voice chat by default
VC is a crutch for poor awareness.
Rear-view mirrors are a crutch for poor awareness too, but those are important enough that you find them on every car. There’s a reason for that.
Oh so force the toxic player in chat so he flames his teammates and make other people throw the game , smart!
If you can’t handle the game without micromanaging your team, then consider playing other modes. You don’t get any control unless you put the work into a stack.
VC is clutch for awareness until some idiot is flooding the comms with nonsense or just calling badly. “Zarya 1!” when she’s full health might make your teammates commit to a kill we can’t get because they trust you.
You must be a hell of a typist when you’re playing Sombra and calling out near-death enemies, flanks and ult charges.
- The statement just isn’t true.
- It’s a safety feature in a big motorised metal box, not someone decide whether or not to communicate in a game.
Not even close to being comparable.
Just gonna mute everyone and listen to music.
They only aren’t comparable because you can’t or won’t see that their use isn’t the only thing about them that you can compare.
You and I both know that the point I was making was that a feature isn’t a bad feature just because it happens to compensate for peoples’ shortcomings.
Did you get the ban appealed?
