Voice chat doesn't work

Can you Help me?
I can’t join any voice chat.
sometimes it worked magically but mostly not…

dude yesterday I played ranked on EU and could not join the voice too, round two I tried again and connected to the voice room and all was fine, but like towards the end of the match it stopped working again lol and I couldn’t get back in. I also have problems connecting to qp or comp games when the timer runs out and it should transition me to the game. Instead I need to spam rejoin button for comp and qp just doesn’t have that kind of a button so I have to search again.

This is an older thread, so I’m gonna lock it. That said, I noticed you’re on a university network. Usually when you have a problem on a university network, it’s due to how the university firewall is configured.

Try using your phone as a mobile tether and see if you can connect to voice chat while playing for a game way. If you can, it means it’s the university network. You can ask the local IT to configure their firewall to permit connections through our voice chat.

This is a little higher level, but some of the popular university routers will classify our voice traffic as Peer to Peer (p2p) over SIP ALG. Universities block p2p connections to prevent piracy on their network. If this is the problem, they can submit a tech ticket with us, explain the situation, and we can forward them some information which should allow them to override this without introducing vulnerabilities to p2p in their network. Please make sure the IT member/network admin submits this ticket, as we only can provide the configuration information to IT for security reasons.
