I’ve had team voice on auto join since game release and I’ve always wondered what the other options do. In particular, there’s On, Off, and Auto Join.
I’m fairly certain On will default to your last set voice chat, whereas Autojoin will force you into the selected game chat even if you were in your team’s voice prior.
