Visual Glitch when using Zenyatta's "Celestial" skin

When using Zenyatta’s “Celestial” skin, a very noticeable visual artifact seems to be anchored to the wrong joint, moving around the screen as Zenyatta moves. It is most visible during his Secondary Fire, taking up the top-right portion of the screen before teleporting downward. I believe this glowing object is the yellow ring that circles the star within the skin’s torso. Whatever the cause may be, it is a distracting visual bug which has been consistently present in matches, the Practice Range, and Replays. Thank you!

hopefully this gains a little more traction, my friend has been experiencing this since the new patch as well

Thank you! It’s very large on my screen, and diverts focus to gameplay.

I remember seeing this briefly from an enemy Zenyatta’s projectiles. For a brief few seconds, there was a yellow glow streak on screen where his orbs fired onto a teammate’s body. The teammate died? I think and the place where the body is showed the yellow streak for a few seconds longer on screen. It reminds me of the previous bug with Lucio and Genji’s projectiles leaving residual traces on screen that linger for a long time. I think very shortly before that, there was also some very brief flashing on screen as well, but if it was caused by the Zen, it was happening somewhere beyond several layers of walls for me and it passed very quickly, so due to the chaotic situation I cannot identify the source accurately.

I have a replay code for this, but when I tried to find the exact time it happened, I couldn’t, as the moment when I think it probably happened, in the replay doesn’t actually show anything, so I can’t even be sure if it was this exact match. I remember the exact map it happened on though, and this is the only one of such map that’s still in my replay history. I barely played the last few days due to the extremely terrible matchmaking quality, so hopefully this is the right one: 6DB99K

Very peculiar. I’ve only recognized the Celestial visual bug as a first-person disturbance. While I also don’t notice anything from your Replay, it still sounds interesting!

@Ram That might have been the wrong match replay. The one that I remembered was likely another match on the same map, but I couldn’t find it in my match history anymore.

Anyway, here’s another replay demonstrating the Celestial skin bug from first person: 46B7SK (my perspective, very beginning of the game in spawn)
Last week the double yellow streak was showing in the front left of the screen when he’s loading up the orbs for secondary fire. This week it’s moved over to the front right of the screen. Also this definitely didn’t exist last season, as I was using that skin for the entire season. I suspect it’s being caused by the two yellow horn like protrusions on the head of the Zenyatta for this skin. As for why it’s suddenly showing now? Well, might have something to do with the third person changes they did this season for Stadium.

ALSO, I captured this replay for another mention of the annoying game ending prematurely bug, at the very end. In the actual game, I and another teammate were both on point contesting when the game just abruptly up and ended, this was several seconds later than when the game was shown ending in the replay. I previously brought up this issue in another bug report here: Match Ending Inconsistently and Abruptly While Contesting
