There is no role ‘Main Tank’ and ‘Off Tank’ only Tank so… if you cant even get that right.

You obviously didn’t view your own vid. Yes he does use the words ‘off-tank’ and ‘main tank’, but he speaks primarily of the tank role. He clarifies when people ask for that “…what they really asking for is man it would be great to have a Reinhardt…”
There is no ‘Off-Tank’ or ‘Main Tank’ role selection.
Sigma isn’t an off tank.

No it isn’t like that at all. That is like saying a metaphor is the same as a simile. The game has projectiles and hitscans… it’s in the code…
I mean tbh, any time somebody says labeling is more important than gameplay design, they are wrong.
That said, I would agree that offtank and maintanks are “positions in a composition”.
That Hammond can be a main tank or an offtank, depending on his playstyle.
Heck, in Hog/Zarya comps, Hog was the main tank.
Similarly, a Rein that’s constantly running away from his team and flanking. Would be an offtank.
I mean if someone wants to suggest that when your words have no meaning and they want to convey something… with words. Then they have no idea how conveying information works.
That said, I have no problem with using the words ‘position in a composition’, that is probably more helpful to someone trying to get their head around supporting the team as a tank.
