Video: How Long it Takes to Turn Around on Console

Crossplay between PC and Console?

This is how long it takes for me to make a “U” turn:

And if I increase my sensitivity, I can’t even hit stationary objects like turrets:

Are you sure you want to do this Blizzard? Remember, guys like me will be in YOUR PC games!

Holy crap I knew it was slower than PC but I didn’t know it was that bad.

Do u want to return to monke? Even on a trackpad you can aim with him.

It usually isn’t that bad in terms of turning, the higher ranked players typically play max sens

No…I appreciate bhagwad’s concerns but they’re just straight up not great. The sense here is borked and not a representation of the platform. There is a top 500 symm console player (stealthhacker) who is a better representation of what the game looks like on console.

in my personal experience playing on a controller only account on PC, what people gain in…their ability to turn fast, they lose in many other areas. kbm players, especially those at or below the avg, are definitely not playing as well as they like to think they are.

I would like you to know that console overwatch has more than one hero except Winston and Moira. I’m sorry if you have some stupid bias against console players like the way you say it.

Bro is your sensitivity 30? I play on 70-40

yea and now turn aim assist off

You’re playing on a low sense lol. 100 is way faster than this and there are plenty of players who aim fine with it. Removing aim assist is a different story.

A surprising amount of people do play without aim assist, it’s not that common but it does happen a good portion of the time

You can max out your sensitivity speed and do fast 180s but then you will literally not be able to aim at anything with precision until you turn sensitivity back down

Yeah I do not envy controller players fighting KBM players

You must have missed the second video. That’s what happens on higher sensitivities on console.

It’s a trade off. You can either have fine movements, or you can have quick large movements. You can’t have both.

I don’t think thats correct. I also play on console and there are plenty of hitscans who eat me for breakfast with very fine control.

Back when I was on console #1 on the leaderboards played mccree on controller on 100-100, granted he was nuts but the sens your on ive never seen anything close to that low, borderline minor amounts of tomfoolery going on

That’s just bad aim for that person then. I use 100 on console and can hit turrets just fine lol. Most Tracer/Genji players on console use 100 because you kinda have to.

no definitely some tomfoolery going on here. He was asking for advice last night with these same videos.

I use 100-100 sensitivity and I’ve never had trouble landing crits consistently enough for my rank, and I play hitscan when I’m not on support. Most people will be playing on sensitivities higher than what you showed (what is that, like 20-10?), ESPECIALLY support and tank players. The general rule for console sensitivity is to bump it up as far as is tolerable, so many higher ranked dps players will have it relatively quick, too. You’re just playing on an insanely low number for whatever reason.

Removing aim assist for console players is the issue here, not ‘turn speed’.

No, this is legit. I’ve been playing for 4 years, and I’ve tried everything. I’m not a skilled player, it’s true. But based on my rank, I’m at least an average one!

I think you just need to find your personal sweet spot
I used to be a controller player for Halo and Fortnite but a year into Fortnite I switched to kbm, for console I definitely like the higher sense but on pc I am more of a lower sense person
btw if you want a game to learn kbm I do recommend fortnite because it helped me get used to a keybind system I liked and what buttons were easy for me to press when switching in and out of edit modes. I know that game gets allot of “hate” now but its still popular
