When I launch Overwatch everyday, the music is blasted into my ears and when I go into my settings, all video and sound settings are reset to default. This includes pretty much all my Video settings like display, FOV, Aspect Ratio, graphics quality, display stats and fps cap etc. My sound settings such as master volume, sound effects, music, ingame voice and voice chat settings are all reset. However, my control, gameplay and social settings are not reset and remain the same. Please provide a fix if you can.
Thanks
Something may have set the local settings file to be read-only. Try deleting the file to see if this helps:
Navigate to the following directory and delete the following file on your Windows operating system:
c:\Users\YourUserName\Documents\Overwatch\Settings\Settings_v0.ini
This will set the file back to the game’s default video and audio settings. You know this works when you launch Overwatch and the “Are you with me?” Cinematic begins playing. Once the settings are reset, change them to your desired values, close the game, and then attempt to relaunch the game to see if they stay.
I tried this but after a few days, it gets reset again?*
