Does anyone think we might get Venture play testing soon? I’d say the early Mauga release was very great feedback possibly on the state of the character. We are kind of reaching the middle of the season now.
I want to say we got Mauga like a month early during blizzcon before the end of season 7.
I wouldn’t mind a free trial of the Venture Card. They’re losers if they don’t let her say, “Rock n’ Stone!” as a hello, though.
I dont remember the exact date of Mauga pre-release weekend trial, it was like 1 month before the next season?
I remember they saying that they want to replicate the weekend trial for other heros, who knows, maybe we’ll get the pre-trial weekend for Venture in the next 2 weeks.

I think it kind of lines up to do it very soon if possible. The console patch cycle if they needed to make any fixes probably needs to be 1-2 weeks before a major release. They likely would need to make sure they get their data very, very soon to process it and work on any patch fixes which might be 1-2 weeks as well.
If were were to get one I’d say it likely would be this week or next week. If not, I’d guess its not coming period.
Probably around the time of the mid-season patch would be my guess. So about 2 more weeks.
That kind of lines up with the Cosmic crisis too. its ending in 6 days. Having something as an event for a gap filler would be likely around that time period too.
Mauga trial weekend was during Blizzcon. It’s hard to augur if it’s to become a regular thing or not from that alone.
i just have the feeling that im gonna hate this hero personally, mainly as ashe/widow (or any hitscan) hehe
still cool that they make fun heroes like that in this game. even tho i find some heroes annoying i like how there is a multitude and variety. the beauty of hero shooters
