I don’t even think they need more range. The range is fine they just need to have the tools to actually justify the range.
The dig wind up being so long that you can get bursted from 200 hp, mid wind up is egregious. It heavily limits how you can play the hero, when all your engagements have to basically be; Dig → drill dash underground to boop some people → pop out as late as possible so you have drill dash again → drill dash out
Trying to use drill dash as an offensive move is basically only possible if you already managed to close distance without dying and the target is severely isolated. If they aren’t, you’ll die trying to dig out and get punished very quickly for it.
IMO the changes that need to happen:
- Drill dash cooldown needs to not be halved if used underground, but instead drill dash cooldown should just be 2x faster while underground. So instead of being forced to use drill dash while underground already to get the value out of that mechanic, you can now ACTUALLY use drill dash first and when you go underground the 2x faster cooldown will kick in. Still leaving it as a 4 second cooldown all the same.
- Fix their ult.
- Try 275 HP
