Venture is an uncreative Cosplay Carrey

Dear Overwatch 2 Team,

I really enjoy the playstyle of Jim “The Ace Venture” Carrey.
The only thing I would probably change or work on is how Cosplay Carrey telegraphs its ultimate.

I sadly have to say this is not the main reason that I write you.
The new Hero I feel is just terrible from a creative perspective.
A Hero that could go underground was always something I knew was coming since the first time I played OW1 when it released, but the way Jim Venture Carrey looks like is sooo uncreative I don’t even know what to say but I will try.

Jim Venture Carrey has a drilling machine, really?
You could have given Cosplay Carrey maybe Drills as Hands,
or make it an Omnic that was created for underground work in mines,
doing digging work where its too dangerous to send men or maybe forgotten by both sides when the war started and developed a similar behavior to bastion but instead
we have this Cosplay Carrey face with a digging machine doing archology.

Did the guys from WoW or Hearthstone worked on Cosplay Carrey because they too
like archology, is it really the only thing you can think of when thinking about the underground?

There was a war right? The ability to create tunnels in a short amount of time was a way to rescue or attack people in war times since like forever and still is to this day but you created a human with a drilling machine doing archology and said “Yeah that’s what I think about when I think of a hero”

For the future please use your imagination.
Just a few days ago I thought about the world that my 3 year old sun lives in must be such a mystical place.

There are monsters and ghosts, a man with some elves delivers Christmas gifts, there is a bunny that hides eggs made of Chocolat and many more things and its such a wonderous and magical world for him while for me everything is demystified and logic and real problem solving are my bread and butter but I noticed i still watched Violent Night last Christmas when the kids went to bed and enjoyed it because I could recall the rules of the fantasy. There are things Santa can do because he is Santa and he can use his abilities to beat up bad guys.

So hear me out Overwatch Team please in the near future when you release new heroes please be a little bit more creative, thank you!

This post makes no sense.

You basically call Venture an Ace Ventura ripoff, then you ask to post a Dumb and Dumber picture, where the comparison mainly seems to be because of the chipped tooth - when the two characters he played have nothing to do with each other.

Okay.

I must have missed the extra sequel where Jim Carrey’s character became smart and studied to become an archeologist.

Its Jim Carrey from Dumb and Dumber but I call her Ace Ventura because her name is Venture so Ace Venture-a. I kid you not look at the face minus the wig.
