So they call them selves “archaeologists?” Adventurers or grave robbers would be fine, but this is not how archeology works at all.
I am archaeologist and I was internaly screaming, while watching trailer and Venture´s “excavation”, or destruction of the site with that huge drill.
This is my field of interest and I am disappointed. If you want someone with a huge drill, recovering artefacts like Indiana Jones (meaning: save one artefact - ruin the whole site) at least, don´t use word “archaeologist”.

Or site - robber. We have this huge problem with people - entering historical sites or places with potential finds. They use metal detectors and than they dig around like wild boars - destroying all valuabele informations in a process. You recover artefact, but destroy anything worth of documenting. Artefact without context informations is dead artefact.
These groups are not only ruining and stealing, they even attack archaeologists, if they get caught by them.
