Venture achievement not unlocking when requirements are met

Hey, I was playing a qp game and got 3 eliminations with 1 use of tectonic shock as venture, but the cute spray didnt unlock and I got no achievement, are the achievements bugged and not registering atm? I know that its not even been a full day since season 10 has been live but I was just curious and a bit upset that I fulfilled the requirement to unlock the achievent but didnt actually unlock the achievement.

I had the same issue. Even filled out a ticket with the time stamp and replay code and they said gms can’t do anything

Having the same issue. Got a total party kill with the ult only for it not count.

This seems to happen with new characters since Illari. Can Ow dev team please give any update?

Same, I got 4 eliminations using her ult one time and I was so excited to get the cute spray, but there was no pop up nor any recognition that I got the cute spray. And to confirm it, I looked in Venture’s challenges/achievements and I still did not unlock it despite getting the 4 kills in game…is there anything that can be fixed or do we have to keep playing until it eventually shows up? I hope this isnt the case…

I was finally able to get it by swapping to venture from another character and fulfilling the requirements again. It appears to be the new normal to do that for the new heroes

I actually got it by destroying ball’s mines. There was a moira walking within the mines and im pretty sure i hit her too

so playing a different character in a game, then swapping to venture abd getting the requirement again? or doing the requirement, swapping, sawpping back then doing the requirement again all in 1 game?

I got it by starting the game as mei. Waiting until everyone spawned in and then switching to venture before spawn doors opened and then fulfilling the requirement. If it worked you will get a pop up notification

thanks, ive tried it but nothings working. hoping the devs realise and fix it soon.

I had an issue of the baptiste achievement not triggering for me. Is the swap method reliable? I might try again later with that later even through he is an ow1 character.

ok so i have a bit of an update; i have both the achievements! good news bad news though, im on xbox and i dont think the achievements are on xbox yet so i dont have the gamerscore or any indication that they even exist on xbox at this time. nevertheless i have the achievements and im pretty chuffed :slight_smile: cant wait for ventire to get some really coll skins in the future (fingers crossed theyll be epic!)

Like a lot of new characters, Venture’s achievement is not officially added as an achievement under that section. They may be trying to replace Achievements with Challenges, which I think is yet another terrible Ow2 idea. You can find it under the Challenges section for Heroes. I just got her achievement yesterday and the spray is unlocked normally under the Hero gallery’s spray “Achievement” section. Just to make things even more confusing :sweat_smile:
