meh, they’re fine balance wise. I don’t particularly like the character (especially with all that CC), but they aren’t dominating or anything.

I find her incredibly stupid compared to Genji. So much rewards for 1% of the effort and extremely low risk comparatively. Doesn’t even need to headshot because of course loser-characters don’t need to. But she’s “balanced” by her predictability and limited snowball.

Back up. Are you talking about effort and Genji? Honestly he is one of the easier heroes to play. Considering you use his right clicks most of the time, it’s not really a tougher aim situation than Venture.

Venture is a full on low effort hero. Not just her weapon but the whole kit.

I don’t see a lot of Ventures in game. When I do, they’re either performing very well, or not at all. Which tells me that, unlike some other “braindead characters”, Venture actually requires quite a bit of practice to be really effective. I do think she has a lot for herself, overall, with increased melee damage, complete invulnerability (though it does take a moment to actually go underground, so you need to not wait till the last second if you’re in danger), a good “emerge + gun + clover” combo that doesn’t require tons of aiming, and the protection of shields regularly, that basically give her 280 “health” most of the time. But since she’s not nearly as much present in game as other annoying heroes, I don’t mind her that much…
