I’m sorry,but
When I play Widow,be it Quick Play or Ranked,how can people tell me to “kill things” or simply “Widow swap” when I keep dying cause they’re not healing me even though I’m near the healers and my team??
In Ranked,I had the “pleasure” of people reporting me.
Just…what??
Widow is my most played hero,but I’m just tired of losing every time I play her because of stuff like this. I do play other heroes(Ana,Moira,Sombra,Symmetra. Orisa and D.Va at times) but this is just frustrating.
I have a creeping feeling there is more to this story.
What was your positioning when you didn’t get healed?
Probably in a decent sniper’s nest while the healers were giving the Rein a back massage.
usually on stairs or somewhere near my team where the healers can see me,that aren’t also too bad spots for Widow.
But I swear to god,even if the healers are right behind me,it doesn’t matter.
Just…sigh.
Why does this type of issue never arise in threads like “I am a Mercy main, I am tired of always dying because my dps teammates don’t protect me”?
Ehhhhh.
Most of the time it comes down to positioning. We have no clue what healers they had, etc.
I do feel him when he said the healers never heal even if you’re right next to them. In comp my healers typically have; “Never looking behind them syndrome.”
My best overwatch friend is a Widow main and the only time he ever really gets healed is when I’m playing heals.
When he locks in Widow he’s instantly bashed with “Dude are you trolling” and “can you not throw” and its like, yeah hes throwing by playing his most played hero, sure.
I still don’t understand the hate on Widow honestly like any good Widow can help your team as long as you give them the chance 
I kinda gave up on playing Widow honestly. I know I’m in Gold tier/ELO of all places,but it’s just easier for me to play Symmetra,Sombra,Ana and Moira cause at least I can either heal myself as those characters or get healed without problems(funnily enough).
I have 92 hours on Widow in my All Modes stats and my average accuracy is 35% so I can’t say I’m a horribly bad sniper either.
Its all because of people’s prejudice. My friend had a 25 scoped critical hits in a 10? minute game and he was running gold damage, and the next game half of our teammates were from the same game and instantly began to complain about the Widow pick again.
I’m a Symmetra main so I’m used to the abuse by now lmao
Why are you i front of the healers In the first place?
35% accuracy’s not that impressive. That’s barely average for hitscan
Snipers in this game just can’t catch a break. I mained Widow since Season 2 and I remember both Widow and Hanzo being seen as trollpicks. Some random dude in Comp told me that I “don’t understand the meta and Competitive” when I played Hanzo and despite me doing well,he still complained(In Season 2 ofc)
And despite Widow not getting a rework only tweaks here and there,she’s suddenly seen as an OP unstoppable goddess by these forums and I’m like…lmao

Ask someone to watch your gameplay.
If you can’t actually hit stuff while your healers pamper your Reinhardt switch to something frontline so your team is capable of seeing you.

Yes I’m hitting a lot of my shots. obviously I can barely hit anything if I’m under fire or something and I’m just trying to focus on a target

If that happens to you as Widow the only thing you can do is switch.
I never said I’m better at widow than you I’m pretty trash if I’m being honest but when you made this message i got a second one saying “i can’t handle some criticism for my barely average accuracy”
