…how messed up is that. Why give us the “Cheating” reason for reporting then? I’ve been killed by blatant KB&M users before, and I fail to see how it’s remotely fair.

Why should keyboard and mouse on console be banned?
If your problem is how easier people aim with it, then use them too and that’s it.
It’s not cheating, it’s not a hack, it’s not changing the game’s code to give them advantage.
It’s like reporting people who use gaming mouses when you use a regular one.
I have an old PC and people with gaming PCs get a lot of advantage because of FPS, input lag and the fact they don’t have the eventual stuttering I have. Maybe I should report them for that.

Technically it’s banable since the system is automatic instant suspension after an number of reports against them.

Why should glitching be banned then? After all, it’s in the game. Anybody can do it. And it’s free.

It shouldn’t. As long as stuff in in the game you can use it.
You won’t get much sympathy on here, since there are far fewer console players on the forums. There’s some nuance to the issue, but the bottom line is that using a Xim or other device is not permitted, is not the design intent of the console or the game, and it does provide an unfair advantage. Ergo, it’s cheating.
Now, if you ask me, both the PS4 and XBO have USB ports on them, and everyone should simply be able to plug in a KB&M. Sure, it’s not going to happen since neither Microsoft nor Sony are going to stick a knife in the back of the PC market like that, but it’s the correct solution.

I bought the XIM4 once and couldn't operate it easy as u think...
I sold it and then rebought it (as I thought I did not give it enough time) … the same … sold it yesterday … and I stick to the ESPORT CONTROLER by Razer.
If u buy the xim for OW only its money down the toilet unless if u play other fps games or u will stick forever on Widow
The device gives WIDOWMAKER an edge and that’s it … it has tremendous lag … it doses not work like on PC as it TILTS and freezes with some red lights plus u need approx 500$ ( I include XIM4, Monitor , keyboard, mouse, chair, desk ) … how many idiots u think there are like me in console OW? Very few

The same thing can be said for aim bots. On console we shouldn’t have to buy extra hardware to remain competitive, we sould all be competing on a level playing field. If you are having trouble with aimbots on PC just get your own aimbot, problem solved because everyone can do it.
I don’t wish for immediate action, I just want to know the M&KB issue on console has not been forgotten.

If it was by native support on the console and game, I’d agree. The fact that it requires a third party device to use keyboard & mouse (at least on PS4) makes it “cheating” in my opinion.

Is KMB unfair because it’s better than controller, or is it fair because it’s on an equal level with controller?
I’ve seen so many people complain about KMB, and then those people go ahead and insist that controllers are on an equal level with them, or better. I’m not going to go argue one being superior or both being equal, but I just want to know what you think about it.
Seriously this triggers me. You don’t get to call KMB on console cheating if you believe they’re equal with controllers. So, what’s your opinion?

KB&M will destroy over controller for aiming. I have seen people who are quite amazing at aiming with a controller, but the best KB&M player will beat the best controller player 10 out of 10 when it comes to aiming and accuracy. A controller is an extension of your hands where KB&M is basically an extension of your eyes.

KbM is much easier than using a controller. I have played with both for multiple years and there is a big a difference.
Now, if the game supported the use of any KbM than I would think its fine. But since you need to buy a 3rd party device for it to work I would consider using one an exploit.

If you want an advantage why not get yourself a keyboard? I don’t see the issue 
The issue is you can’t just plug in any old KbM and have it work.
