My displayed battle tag is changing randomly between teammates I’ve had in the past. It has changed to “PUSHBOT”, “W1NTON” and “XXC5RUSAD3RXX”, among other usernames. This has greatly impacted the connection speeds in the quick play lobbies I’ve joined. The problem arose when I initially attempted to remove my battle tag from my username display on Overwatch. I would rather have the name displayed on my avatar simply be my PS Plus username, instead of my Blizzard battle tag.

I am having this issue today.
Every match and in the menu between matches my username is another random player’s in all areas that I can see (chat, top right, highlight/PoTG).
The player changes each transition (new match, back to menu)
I don’t know how it appears to other players.

Already tried restarting the game and the console which hasn’t helped, initally as I was getting the L3 chat bug (where l3 keeps opening chat despite no binding). That went away but was replaced by the username issue.
Same here mine has been generating random anon battle tags and wont leave my original name be. Idk what to do to resolve this issue. I should be able to enjoy my Overwatch experiences especially after spending so much money on the game
