Use Denuvo or Battleye as an Anti-cheat instead

SMS Protect was an amazing idea and concept, but due to it’s shaky start and mass complaints, It bothers me that it had to be pulled. I had such an issue with long queue times and cheaters, and now I feel that it’s all coming back.

So, I suggest just going all in and installing an anti-cheat system. One that allows everyone to play the game but stops hackers dead in their tracks. To this end, I recommend Denuvo or Battleye. Denuvo scares the cheaters away and BattlEye is pretty solid.

SMS Protect was a nice try, and I commend you for it, but it’s time to get serious about kicking and keeping hackers out and allowing legit players to play.

Denuvo is primarily for anti-piracy, not for anti-cheating.

Denuvo also drops performance in games by a fairly noticeable amount.

I’ve also heard they are very aggressive with the pricing for game companies.

blizzard has their own anti cheating system but it never has been very effective

Cheat clients are already out they are just really expensive.

It wasn’t hard because it uses the OW1 engine… nothing changed.

And largely only block things for a short time. Though as far as Battleye, I don’t actually know how good it is. Or if it would be better than the Agent system.

There are two Denuvo Products. The Anti-tamper, and then there is the anti-cheat which was made in 2020. The latter is widely used in the industry and it’s in consoles, mobile games and PC games.

It also doesn’t cost a lot to implement and is affordable.

yeah and it can cause massive problems for fps and game performance if it is not implemented correctly

There is anti-cheat as well irdeto com/denuvo/anti-cheat/

However the only title that had was Doom Enteral. It was removed due to overwhelming negative reviews on steam.

no to denuvo all the way and i think denuvo has gotten sued for illegal spying i think and plus denuvo isnt anti cheat its drm stuff

None of that is true. You can go to the irdeto website and see they have an Anti-tamper AND an anti-cheat.
