Maybe it’s just me, but I feel like I’m seeing Sombra a bit more often lately. Anyone else?
I’m partly asking because if it is true, it’s unexpected. Like, I’ve seen a bit more Ramattra lately, but he got buffed, so the Ramattra enthusiasts at least have an excuse.
Last year was an El Niño year, so a lot of them died off. This allowed the ecosystem to recover, so now there’s an abundance of food, and it’s resulted in a population boom this year. With time, predators and competition should even things out.
Maybe. As widow, I hope I don’t see her.
The latest rework wasn’t nearly as bad as a lot of people thought it was and the decent Sombra players still playing the character have begun to adapt to and learn how to play without infinite stealth.
Seeing a resurgence of Sombra play isn’t that surprising.
I don’t see her often. And when I do, it feels like they are not very good. She’s not picked that often and she has a crappy winrate in all of them (though Masters+ is unreliable).
Because she is broken and her hacking is the LEAST of the problems.
She its an asassin now, the amount of damage/burst she can deal before you can react its insane, go and pick her in practice mode.
-Go invisible
-Throw virus +pew pew (no need to finish the target, virus deal 100hp in total, so as long you leave your target in less than half its dead, UNLESS by miracle gets heal, which isn’t going to be the case because the main target its going to be a healer)
This is where I’m seeing them, and “good” or not, they’re annoying.

Yes the sombies have learnt that if you press tp in a sec you can go in invisible and that this version is way stronger than last one and more useful.
So they are returning en masse , of all the mains rivals kidnapped they were smart enough to avoid taking in the sombies 
But you should if you want to live and kill her.
Bring invis is kinda her thing you know 
Was reverted for all practicality so what we have now is a upgraded sombie that can burst dmg with hack and virus , see people through walls and every other nonsense.
I actually got destroyed by a sombra a couple of hours ago as widow. Usually i am aware so she dont get the jump on me but this one was crafty and my team was getting diffed especially the tank heh…

Probably because of black widow… i like being the underdog
As heals i can deal with sombra most of the time. I do have problems as mercy and ana, although i shouldn’t as ana, depends if im in the zone
As moira its no contest heh, only once in a blue moon a sombra has got the best of me as moira
Only when im widow is when i get bullied if the sombra is hellbent on getting me. Usually she kills me but there are those rare games where she doesn’t or yea if its a novice sombra

With how passively good armor is against Sombra, you need to pick her to consistently derank games.
Why is that unexpected? Sombra is dealing more damage than ever, and that attracts players.
Sombra shouldn’t have this kind of damage, and her rework completely misses her original purpose, but hey, if Blizzard insists on reworking everything into brainless DPS machines, they can go ahead and ruin their own game!
i can generally torture qp sombies enough to make them swap, its just really not good and satisfying.
the issue is she is a turd design currently that has fermented and bloated more instead of sticking with the much needed fix.
she has rarely ever been op.
Because I’m talking about there seemingly being more Sombras, specifically over the last few days, after the last “balance” patch we got.
She didn’t receive any direct buffs, and I don’t see much that could be big indirect buffs for her either. So, if there are actually more lately, and I’m not just imagining it, it’s unexpected.
Yes, people are getting over the initial shock from the changes and starting to learn how to get results with this new version.
