We have only had this patch for like 2-3 games in OWL if it sticks ill put it in

I’m sure meta is dive but what on earth is Reaper doing there?

P.S, tracer is unstoppable, wouldn’t she be in it instead?

most of them are ladder mini-metas and lasted one month or less.

real meta exists in pro play, ladder has its own meta although we dont play it most of the time. more importantly, having a meta doesn’t mean you should execute it poorly just because higher ranks play it. like dive or rein/zarya/reaper/mei.

This is all very wrong lol

Go season by season
Season 3 triple tank meta for example was:
Rein/Zarya/Hog/Lucio/Ana/Soldier
D.Va wasnt part of it
After her buffs the meta became quad tank
Rein/Zarya/Hog/D.Va/Ana/Lucio

Dive was at first
Triple DPS/Winston/zen/(Lucio or Mercy if pharah was picked)
Then changed to
Tracer/Genji/Winston/D.Va/Zen/Lucio
Then changed to
Tracer/Genji/Winston/D.Va/Zen/Mercy
Then to
Widow/Any DPS (mostly Genji, or Junk)/Winston/D.Va/Zen/Mercy
And then it changed again

Dive was a very diverse meta for the dps though and it varried from map to map

This is based of pro play hard to go season by season when pro play doesnt really have seasons and never was soldier played thats bs

Season 3 soldier was meta. Back then OWL wasnt a thing if you mean OWL by pro play but you can look up videos of it. Google triple tank overwatch 2016.
Also S76 saw play during Diva meta in season 1 of OWL specifically on Numbani first point defense multiple times by many teams.
I know right? back then metas were map based. Before Brig ruined everything for 2 years :slight_smile:

I can name a whole meta based off of things that were run for 1 map, Dive for the most part was Winston DVA Genji Tracer Zen Lucio

Ok let’s discuss dive Dive for example.
Dive with Zen/Mercy lasted longer than Lucio/Zen. So?
In OWL, OWWC, and on ladder.
