No. I am not going to waste my time playing a 2cp map in quickplay. I’m there to have fun, not be stomped or stomp.
Are you gonna add a slur-specific filter in the future? Or is that covered in “friendly/mature” with the “offensive” side of the filter system?
Although for slurs specifically, I feel it’d be better to make that its own filter so even if people choose unfiltered for profanity and the like, it takes away the option to be freely racist/homophobic/etc.
Leave before it starts. No penalty just like now. 2cp is garbage.
Eventually, with more and more attempt at censoring language, people will resort to simply not communicating. I am sure people will tell me I’m wrong, but over time its the natural reaction. No amount of artificial controls can teach civility if it doesn’t start at home and in the community, and quite honestly an acceptance that you will hear or read something in life you find offensive.
I wish voice coms were saved as part of replays, and that there was actually a way to report segments of voice coms from the replay. So if someone is being very abusive, you could report it and actually have someone review it in context.
More often than not text chat is used to get a rise out of people. It’s not usually used to be super offensive. Likely because people know it is logged. Voice chat is where a ton of abuse happens, and none of it is recorded (as far as we know).

They don’t encourage it because it means they’d have to deal with less complaints.
I, however, plan to have my chat unfiltered. What strangers on the internet say to me has no bearing on my mood or well being.
I’m not knocking anyone who chooses otherwise, just saying that I appreciate that the ‘unfiltered’ option exists because it’s definitely what I’ll be choosing.
I wrote it at the same time as them, but my point was proven… 
So will the filtering work as usual and will just censor bad words for example “You’re $^@!”, or will it completely remove the message from your chat?

many people will REBUTTAL an abusive player and then they get “vacuumed up” into the caos. 
Two wrongs do not make a right. Turning the cheek and all that other stuff is a completely viable option.
Basically if you feel you are not in control of your emotions enough to simply mute and ignore and you HAVE to respond than do not be in voice chat in the first place.
Penalize for what? Leaving 2 cp maps because they belong in the trash bin?

Thanks for nothing. How about some actions against smurfs and cheaters? Who the hell even cares about profanity n stuff? Arent we all grown ups and able to take some bad words here n there… Goodness… Wasting resources on unimportant things.
Just so you know, usually bad language comes from frustration which comes from smurfs and cheaters ruining people matches(which are already HORRIBLE ,packed with high q times and limited roles, all thanks to your matchmaker ), but you dont know anything about that anyway. You are clueless and chose to ignore these important things.
And lastly, there is NOTHING you can do to filter these words. Just add a dot between some letters and done, you can see the words…
Such a waste of time.
