For some time now i’m having issues :
Everytime i want to play overwatch the button “play” is replaced by “update”, even when i play a few times th same day, i always have to update before playing.
When i clic update, it says “waiting for another update” and eventually ends up allowing me to play, but it takes easily 40 seconds each time. It wouldn’t be such a problem if it wasn’t for the times the game chashes and i have to reload it and of course wait for the fake update…
config :
i7 7600k
gtx1080
16Gb Ram
144Hz Screen
SSD 512 Go (windows, Bnet and game on it)

PS : I’ve already tried uninstalling the game, repair, didn’t help.

Sorry to hear you’re having this updating issue with Overwatch. The Battle.net app may be getting stuck on old cache data, thinking the game needs an update when actually it’s fine. Let’s try clearing out that cache and see if it sorts out.
Deleting Battle.net Files
Restart the app afterwards and see if it’s fixed!
I’m in the Blizzard App folder but can’t find any cache so i don’t know what to delete, i’m gonna try deleting the whole thing and install it again.
And the link u gave me only tells me how to delete the entire Blizzard App folder so not really healpful :s
edit: Problem solved by completly re-installing the Blizzard App.
