he a ran a company for decades, and oversaw the largest acquisition in gaming history. lots of people like to complain about other things not related (his pay, how he talks, his breathing) but what matters at the end of the day is that this executive KNEW what he was doing and is finally getting paid for his work.
and for the “he let people go wahhh” individuals, you are about to be in for a real shock when you get out into the real world, this is a natural occurrence in the product cycle, if you dont like, become an entrepreneur
I’m pretty sure he just wanted to Retire, so he did so by Blowing up his own Company so that another Company would Buy it (since it has a lot of Valuable I.Ps).
He Ruined Franchises by Intentionally Cutting Content and Wasting Dev Time, made Awful Monetisation to Maximise Profits and Minimise its Fanbase, he Fired people after making Record Sales just so he could keep making more money for Himself, etc.
I’m pretty sure he even Brushed Sexual Harassment Allegations and Complaints under the Rug and Basically Allowed Sexual Assault to happen, so he could Expedite his Company’s Suicide. He maybe even Anticipated a Lawsuit Breaking out, since that then made his Company Supercheap for someone to Buy (‘Supercheap’ in Company Terms is still like $60 Million).
Selling his Company and Ruining everything in the Process was ALL his Fault and the Fault of the Unnamed Executives. He’s getting all the Blame because he’s the only one anyone knows. EVERY Executive should be getting a Pink Slip and a Kick in the Rear.
And Allegedly he was on a Human Trafficker List made by Epstein.
did you see what hapend with the goat in the video? i know right! but realy, i dont know anyhting about him, but like the goat video when i was a kid back in jurasic park days
If I had a nickel for every time a major entertainment company was horribly mismanaged by a guy named Bob, I’d have two nickels! Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice.
You think CEO’s own their companies? rofl. You really don’t know much about business, do you. Actually, a quick google search shows that kotick owns about .05% of activision blizzard. The decision to sell is not up to a .05% shareholder, lol.
When a CEO wants to retire, most of them can’t just say, “okay, I’m selling the company!” Funny that you would think that though.
Some ceos own their company. Depends on size and if it’s publicly traded with a board of directors or not. Tho yes, obviously bobby does not own all or even much of the company.
