Honestly I don’t think it’ll be as impactful as people think. 2.5 seconds is still plenty of time to get 2-3 kills out of it with good coordination.

I don’t recall the end of the world in those changes.

I feel like they should have just buffed other tanks abilities to block it tbh.

Hi Jeff, could we please have a forum thread for each experimental card? It is unclear how you gather feedback from the community, apart from stats, if there is no structured way to give said feedback for the community? I think post like that would be helpful.

Also I would like to ask if it would be possible to have experimental card with addition of assets that are not in a game, e.g. new abilities?

It’s so annoying because like, her and Sigma shield don’t always perfectly touch the ground so it goes under/around it. I hate shatter so much sometimes.

They should make her shield more curved lol. Like bastion when he was first released.

Greatly appreciated, those long range shots were trivial to get on some targets (like sentry Bastion) or were pure luck.

Sigma would do well a shorter cast time, it was just an annoyance to him as he could deploy his barrier to protect him while casting accretion.

This is sort of the opposite but I wanted them to fix the fact that if reinhardt is mid jump shatter will still be blocked even though reinhardt is airborn. Not sure if this is for sure a thing but after ten minutes of testing in custom games it seemed like it was.

I reached Gold on Support last season and stayed there for 2-3 weeks. Then I dropped a little coz I focused more on trying to reach Gold on Tank.
Also, I play on 15-20 FPS on an overheating laptop with 50% render scale and 1280x720 resolution so let’s stop talking about my SR.

I just checked Overbuff.
Mercy’s pick rate among Support heroes in GM in the last 3 months before Echo’s release was 7.94%.
Mercy’s pick rate among Support heroes in GM this week after Echo was released jumped to 21.31%.

And I’m not gonna take a single Overwatch pro’s word for the truth given the fact that Neptuno is known to be a Mercy enthusiast. I’d rather rely on stats and facts than someone’s opinion.

Sadly it won’t stop me from continuing to think that I can reflect it or eat it when its coming toward me :confused:

I know it’s too much for experimental but I’d like it if you didn’t have to worry about earth shatter going around barriers because it ignores barriers but has a really short duration knockdown, same duration as this experimental card makes Sigma’s Accretion.

The ult charge should probably be lowered but it doesn’t put such an emphasis on everyone having barriers a Earthshatter is so powerful yet only countered by barriers.

As I said, it should happen for every card IMHO. So this one is great, I just would like to see this a a trend, not a selective occasion. Hope that clarifies things

I’m fairly sure that she was picked more because brig wasn’t available and without rein lucio wasn’t as good as he is with rein.

Dude. Stop for a second and listen to what I am saying.

Last week Echo was released yes, but MCREE, WIDOWMAKER, REINHEART, AND BRIG WERE ALL BANNED. This meant Echo could fly in the sky like a Pharah all game with no one to shoot at her EXCEPT ASHE, who is also a pocket target for Mercy.

So Mercy Echo in the skies or Mercy Ashe on the ground was played all week in GM because Mcree and Widow weren’t even available. Also, Rein was banned, which helped Mercy pickrate as you never play Mercy when Rein is meta.

HENCE why in the Echo Flash Ops Tournament this weekend, where NO ONE was banned and all of these heroes were playable, MERCY WASN’T PICKED

Ok, what about ArK’s opinion? Or Dridro’s? Or Kruise’s? Or Ml7’s?

Or how about the Lucio main Frogger’s? Who said that Mercy is the worst support in the game right now and needs a healing buff minimum or a rework?

I get it they may not want to have Genji reflect that huge boulder but how about the middle ground: Genji just STOPS the boulder? So his sword just chops it in half and it crumbles mid air.

fyi: the experimental card is causing issues so we had to bring it down. we’re working on bringing it back up but it is unlikely to happen today. apologies.
