Unsupported 16-Bit Application

After season 10 update When I launch Overwatch 2 I get this error message -
Unsupported 16-Bit Application
The program or feature
“??\Z:\gms\Overwatch_retail_ErrorReporting\x64\CrashMailer_64.exe”
cannot start or run due to Incompatibity with 64-bit versions of Windows, Please contact the software vendor to ask if a 64-bit Windows compatible version is available.

After pressing ‘OK’ the game boots up fine though.

You have some sort of compatibility mode turned on for the Overwatch.exe file? Check the file properties.

Same issue here right after season 10 update. Never has happened before.

If your only concern is to remove the error message, you can just delete the executable:

1.) Locate the 'ErrorReporting' folder, for example
    * C:/Program Files (x86)/Overwatch/_retail_/ErrorReporting
    * Z:/gms/Overwatch/_retail_/ErrorReporting

2.) Delete the 'x64' subfolder contained within the 'ErrorReporting' folder.

I don’t have compatibility mode turned on.

Then you likely have corrupted files and will need to reinstall. I recommend putting the game on the same drive as Windows.

I don’t have space on C: . How do I do a fresh install.

Then reinstall.
