And the removal of stacks for good, i won’t even bother explaining the reasonings at this point.
Good choice. Too bad it will probably never happen.
Yeah, I understand the feeling. Right there with ya.
I really tried to have hope in this team but in 7 years i uninstalled twice and both were during this month. I pretty much give up at this point.
Sadly, I did the same. I played Overwatch 1 regularly from launch to its final day. NEver uninstalled, never really thought about it. Currently have OW2 uninstalled and will see how things eventually shape up.
Same. I tried setting up a new account. At first it was fun cuz I owned. A couple a losses and you get thrown back into the dog pile. This game is broken. Literally only ever wanted to uninstall it recently.
So you’re quitting overwatch forever? Well, bye
I can win 3 games in a row np, but then you get one of those games where you have a 3 stack that are x5 lower your rank and they start to talk crap about you and how you are boosted meanwhile they are all negative kdr. On top of that you get x3 reported which the game calculates and puts you in losers q and cycle continues. I don’t even know if blizzard are aware of this or they are just simply going to work for paycheck.
Report all stacks as cheating. It’s the very definition of an unfair advantage.
I would pay every season for premium matchmaking that keeps stacks out of my games.
Nah that’s far too heavy handed. I think solo queue is boring. I understand why others would be interested in it, but if I couldn’t play this game alongside my friends, I wouldn’t play it at all… and the extreme position of “if you’re grouping up, it’s only because you want to dunk on other players” (you didn’t say this, but I have seen this take before) is at best outlandish and at worst, asinine.
If we can’t group up then why would friends lists even be necessary? I guess I just don’t understand what the end goal is for people who think solo play is the only conceivable direction to go.
Besides, it kind of already seems like there is a queue for solo players. I say that because, when I group up with friends, we typically wait 10 minutes for a single QP game, because it’s waiting to match us up with another stack. It’s a price I’m willing to pay and I don’t lash out at solo queuers for it.
100%. You even have people on this forum who think it’s bullying for a duo to team up on someone who is popping off on the other team…
A stack is a quantifiable advantage. This advantage can be added as +ELO on the matchmaking for those stacking to bring them in line with solo queue.
THIS would pretty much be the real solution. Should be easy, should be fair. And I don’t mind anything as long as I stay roughly around 50% w/l.
And ofc just when i make posts like these, ppl want to bring back full stack in GM lmao
I have only ever been able to solo queue. Got to maybe masters on both console and pc solo queueing. But, I have only played like 3 or 4 games of Overwatch 2
It doesn’t matter what rank you reach, playing solo q is rage inducing and a tilting experience even if you reach the highest rank in the game unlike stacking, it’s not even close. Just go watch most of the top players, they all duo stack and they will never tell you it’s a good idea to remove stack because they want to keep their ranks.
