Uninstalling this game is such a great feeling

It makes you feel like the weight of the world has been lifted off your shoulders. No more rigged matches. No more broken heroes. No more bad teammates. What a wonderful feeling.

Most of my win in QP, comes after 5-8 losses!

Different week same situation with the weeklies, 3 days left and only won 3 games!!!

I swear my win/loss ratio gotta be around 1/5. It feels so horrible.

It is getting a LOT of new players. People complain about being matched with new players all the time.

Obviously it is getting a lot of new players in, and I would guess faster than old players are leaving.

yeah, but they dump it after a couple weeks and move on to the next best thing

this game isn’t “More popular than its ever been” it might be more popular than it has been in the last couple of years… but that won’t last… not at all

I suspect that is why Blizzard has spent so much time lately caring about how the game plays in low ranks.

They need them to stay around, so they will balance for that. It is more important than the rest of the ladder for them right now.

New player conversion rates is the lifeblood of games.

It is why Genji was fixed quickly, and Sojourn is still a problem. One is a problem in the area they care about, The other, not so much.

Their balancing and allocation to fixes problems all make a lot of sense when looking at it like this.

The game helps me fight intrusive thoughts. It’s a good game.

mhmm… and it still plays like garbage in the low ranks x-D

and they won’t stay, the “Customers” blizzard is now pandering too are not “One game” players… they are always chasing the next new thing, and the dopamine hits

as soon as they stop fragging out and become victims of the hideous forced winrate matchmaker, or when their broken hero gets the nerf hammer, they will move on

Doesn’t have to be… look at TF2 that game is awesome, has been around for 15 years and still has old and new players… many of whom have been playing it for 10+ years

Yeah, but less garbage than it was.

It isn’t anything like the same playerbase though, and Blizzard won’t accept the TF2 player base.

I still wonder what would have happened if Valve didn’t in essence abandon TF2. Would OW even had become a thing?

i installed again after 3 month break, uninstalled again after 3 matches of garbage

it was at launch

sounds like a blizzard problem, more fool them

probably not

More of a mix of DPS heroes for one. Support isn’t facing Genji every match. They are improvements. Flankers being the only thing worth doing isn’t healthy for the game. No one wants to play into that.

They won’t accept the number of players which TF2 has. It wouldn’t be worth having the dev sized team they have for it.

It would have had to work a lot harder for success that is for sure.

for me it was the same old “Genji/tracer, widow/hanzo/ash” nothing else

i myself am a tf2 player and loved this game at launch, as many other tf2 players i know did, who actively stopped playing tf2 for it… and as time went on we all dumped this hot garbage and went back to tf2…

imagine if blizzard had decided to keep things true to the way they originally designed the game, they would have kept those players and many many more would have come along for not just the gameplay, but the community too

yup

Genji is being played less, he is still being played a LOT though. Widow/Hanzo/Ash are likely to see nerfs soon.

I was a Sombra main, and I didn’t think think OW2 release Sombra was healthy. Whatever their rework is going to be, I expect it will be more healthy.

I don’t think OW1 release was viable long term.

It also fell pretty heavily into Flanker / Sniper watch, and without changes to stop that, I don’t think it would have survived.

Since OW2 released I’ve uninstalled the game like 7 times already, but for some reason I keep coming back.

yeah… untill genji, widow, hanzo, tracer and ash are not being played at all… like 99% of games do not feature these heros in any capacity, im not interested in returning, im sick and tired of them

again, it could have been…

fell into and stayed that way, and still is…

because instead of leaning into the moba style they gutted the tanks and turned them into tissue paper in order to pander to the ADHD squirrels on MDMA children who “Diddn’t wanna shoot barriers cus thats boring”…

such a shame

Wait for PvE then.

ADHD people on MDMA don’t act like that. They have naps, one of the common things you see is ADHD having a coffee and then wanting a sleep. It is so weird. (ask me how I know  )
