Moderator Clarification: No, it’s not permanent, not yet. You were not suspended for saying EZ or Diff, except where EZ also included expletives and name calling including profanity starting with B, S and F, as well as other toxic behavior. It doesn’t matter who “started it”.

I literally never hop on here to talk but this has gone way too far… Ive gotten 1 chat ban the whole time ive been on ow2 ( started around april 2023) and it was at the very end of 2023… the chat ban lasted till jan 13 2024 alright… It was supposed to be a 13 day chat ban but it lasted way more… sometimes if i dont play the game they wont count it as a day removed?? Anyhow ive gotten over that… but today i played for hours ( around 8. I know it sounds crazy but its my first time playing that much) which was from 3 am to 11 am and now at 9 pm i hopped on the game and found out i got suspended? Now i dont know if its permanent or what… I honestly am not toxic but yes sometimes I do troll however the other times im just not as good (im really not) and I cant really controll that. What id like to say is 1. I do curse but only when someone is throwing or TARGETING ME. 2. I say ez or " — diff" sometimes… never anything serious, because its an online game… Many people do worse and are way more horrible and never get banned?? I feel like this unfair… I rarely start any arguments and all that drama… I honestly feel like the moderating system is messed up and I dont know what to do. I dont want to recieve any hate either because 90% of the ow2 players are like me if not worse…
Depending on the country you live in, there are already laws regarding this. In the EU, for example, many countries have implemented rules stating that a suspension must be justified and you are entitled to know the exact reason. So they must provide you with information accordingly.
A few months ago, I intentionally got myself suspended to test this out, and some of the reports I received were ridiculous. You always get a message upon logging in next, stating that you’re not behaving properly.
Sometimes, these messages came at times when I intentionally wrote “TANK DIFF”.
At other times, “Haha c9” was reported.
As I said, I intentionally pushed it further to see what would be reported.
When I finally reached out to support to know the exact reason, I had to seriously threaten them with legal action before they would provide me with information. Strangely, it took them 5 days to respond, and they only listed messages from the last 2 weeks.
So, during the weeks when I intentionally pushed it to the extreme, there were indeed insults reported.
By the way, this whole process took almost one season, and there were about 10-15 reports shown to me.
I did this because a chat ban has no consequences. 14 days without voice and text. Wow, what a punishment.

But maybe after being suspended twice you will stop saying ez and diff, and cursing at people? Regardless of your reasons for doing so, people are consistently reporting you in many games for you to get a ban. Imo, stop trash talking consistently if you want to avoid bans.
It does not matter. This report system works similar to how the law operates. It ain’t matter who start it. If you are going to get into a fight, you might as well throw the first punch because only yo mammy cares about whether you were defending yourself or not. The pigs are going to haul you both to jail regardless.
Don’t talk back then. Tho I do doubt you are only saying ez and diff after the enemy says something, but so be it. You know why you have been getting suspended, and the solution to stop getting suspended. Up to you to decide how to proceed.
dont chat, dont do nothing, anything wil damage your acount, no EZ, no argue, nothing, dont say anything, just say nothing, aagin, nothing, poeple can basicaly report you for saying okey, just say NOTHING!
you need help by saying nothing, no reply, nothing, just play. treshold for afk/trowing reports is prety solid, should not get your acount damage, also log out for 20 mins ever couple matches, you have good chance system gives a mesage for a warning, right before acount action whould be activated, that my friend is GOLDEN rolya dvice;) been there, i know how the pooo works;) just let sombody els trow it, dont be the target for any reports, again, say nothing. also system gives mutiple warnings (IF LOG OUT AND IN IN BETWEEN) i even had 2 at same time, formfor chat & othr for adk, i been geting them alot sich i figured out i have to log out for abit, specialy when i know i been targeted with reports.

yes, but there playstsile is nothing you should be consered about, i been there, trust me on this, your ARE NOT GOING TO EDUCATE 2 MILON poeple , so you wont fix, you only MAKE THEM TARGET YOU, becuase my friend, abusif chat reports do STICK & THEY DO HECK ALot DAMAGE to your acount, way more then smbody who trows does to you, i ve been wrecking my head how i get torb to lvl 400 & 1000 without bein acount actioned, the log out and log in 5 min laters realy helped me, and nobody talking about that, again, take this golden advice from Roly, anyway i have plenty of reason, my overwatch licenec i put 50,- euro a week on it. for so many years now, dothe math, i realy dont want to be actioned
…that doesn’t make it okay. If someone else is breaking the rules, that doesn’t suddenly make it okay for you to break them too. Just report them and mute them.

And yes, there are worse things you can say than diff or ez, but that doesn’t mean those are okay to say either…
The consequence is that you made the game less fun for other people. I’m not sure why you felt the need to “test” this out.
