We were winning a competitive game and then I lost connection to the server, yet my wifi was fine I could connect to other services. When I joined back, we had won the game yet I still lost SR, which is stupid because I should not be losing SR because Blizzard servers were not working.
This has happened to me twice tonight. No internet connection issues or drops, no one else in my group of 4 had the error. Not sure what else I can test or check, but it seems to have just started today.
I’m hearing similar issues from other users and also from streamers. This needs to be investigated.

I’m having the exact same issues. I have to log back in and everything. I can no longer play comp because it’s gotten so bad.
This happened twice to me yesterday, and once to my mate today. We both have computers in the same room on the same internet connection. One is able to continue playing and the other has an “Unexpected Server Error”. My mate is also unable to rejoin the competitive match afterwards. There’s just no option.

Same here, I was in a game, and halfway through it, it disconnected me and when I relaunched ow, the game was still going on but I couldn’t join it
Seems there are server issues. Anyone know if they are being DDOS attacked?
Just had it happen in the middle of a QP game and I can’t get back into Overwatch at all. I never have issues like this so I don’t really know what to do about it.
Same here, finished a QP but had some pretty noticeable spikes throughout. Server connection timed out while I was in queue for the next one. Also noticed that endorsements weren’t available.
I was able to log back in (with a manual authentication code). Fine so far, but I would definitely avoid queuing for comp.
