Unexpected server error

playing in death match was 2nd on kill boards about to get next kill and bam. disconnected like ome one was sat there with a switch,black screen then you have been disconnected from the server then error message saying unexpected server error.
Did some one fall over the cable again while getting coffee? :stuck_out_tongue:

Same thing happened here.

“Unexpected server error”. Lost a ranked game and 50 sr.

Blizzard, can I get a CARE MOMENT from you now? Or am I supposed to lose SR without so much as a flinch from you…

I have just been in comp (eu) and literally just had this unexpected server error. apparently 3 others were booted out. i loaded back up quickly and i couldn’t rejoin the competitive game but didn’t lose SR or get a suspension which i’m thankful for i guess.

Same. Got suspended because I didn’t know the game was still going on. Feelsbadman.

Same with me was in a competitive game then suddenly everyone in the team was disconnected and the rejoin button was there but couldn’t rejoin. Everyone who just got disconnected were still in team chat. I thought I could just exit and log back in trying to solve the problem now I lost 50SR and suspended for 10 minutes. Hope blizzard is reading this and solve the issue

Same happened here. We were in a competitive match on Lijang tower and the server shut down making us have to restart the entire game so we could get back in. We ended up losing 50 sr for “leaving the match” even though we had no control over leaving.

Same here.

This is the 3rd time it happened to me, on the same account, in the last 1 month. This is so frustrating. Plz blizzard, if it happened once or twice, I can accept it. It’s the 3rd fking time. Common. It’s 150sr and 30m of suspend, seriously?

I just got kicked from a competitive match due to a “server error,” too. I was in a duo queue, but my other friend didn’t disconnect, and even though it said the server “closed due to unexpected error,” there were still apparently 8 people (4 people each team) in said match before it ended. The four that were disconnected were talking in the match chat, within the menus.

I was punished for leaving because I couldn’t even rejoin match no matter how many times I tried to click. My friend got SR from it, while I lost because it booted me.

And if I count my 2nd account, it would be the 5th time. Really? Blizz, really?

Just lost 50 sr on a ranked match due to this “unexpected” server error which is becoming nowadays more “expected” than before. Second time it happens. Have seen it in several OW videos. If you cannot fix the error at least give people their 50 sr back please.

They were doing maintenance last night, maybe that has something to do with the recent errors?

I just got kicked from a competitive game because of server errors. After that the game tried to reconnect but it didnt worked. The game found icon was kind of frozen so i closed the game. As if i restarted it i lost 50 SR and got banned for 10 minutes. I dont think thats right. So pls blizzard, give me my 50 SR back

Aand the problem is back again for me at least. Stopped playing, wanted to go back an hour later and I can’t login, I press the login, type in the authentication code, kicks me back to login
