Every time I load up the game, it goes through the motions of loading only to say “Unexpected Server Error Occurred” at the end. Logging into another account works perfectly fine. But for some reason, my account cannot log in to Overwatch. This has been going on since June 26, 2024. I can log in and play other games on Battle.net, just not Overwatch. I’ve made support tickets, and they all get replied to with the same 5-step routine that hasn’t been successful. Many others have reported the same problem; from what I’ve seen, no solutions have been found. I wonder if there’s anything I can do on my end or if I have to pray some Blizzard employee sees this
Also been having the same issue as of last week. made 7+ tickets to support to the same run around. Exactly what you’re experiencing is what I get everytime. I can play COD on my main account but not overwatch. I made a new battle.net and can play just fine on Overwatch on there. Support doesn’t seem to understand that its not an issue on our ends, its an issue on theirs and they refuse to do something about it. I’m currently losing time to work on the current battle pass because of this. It’s unfair that this stuff happens and support just gives out the same 5-step “solution” and mark it as resolved when it isn’t
Sorry to bump this 1 year old topic, but did you ever find a fix?
I’ve been having this exact problem, and every time I try to reach support about it, like you said they just send a premade answer that has nothing to do with the issue and close the ticket right away and mark it as resolved, when it’s totally not.
They keep telling me to check my network, firewall, Internet connection, etc. but the thing is, my girlfriend and I are in the same room. We both have our own computer, but they are connected on the same Internet connection through the same router.
I cannot connect to Overwatch from both my computer and my GF’s computer, but she CAN connect to HER on BOTH computers, which proves that it isn’t an issue on my end, but every time I try to tell Blizzard CS that it has to be on their end, they send the generic troubleshooting answer and close the ticket again.
How the hell am I supposed to play the game if the only people who can fix my account refuse to take my request seriously!?!
