Unable to rez even with the pop-up "Revive ___"

I have the video linked below, but to explain what happened:

My Symmetra died and I went in to rez by peaking the corner and dragging the rez around the corner because there was a hog there. I wanted to stay out of LoS to get the rez off. But while I spammed the button to rez, nothing was happening. You can see Mercy remove her hand from the staff 3 different times to start the animation, but then it’s immediately cancelled.

I’m staring at the soul right through the wall and stand there still spamming rez as fast as I could. Nothing happens, despite the “Revive _____” on my screen with the picture of Sym.

At the beginning you had line of sight but then you lost it, that was the problem

But I shouldn’t have had the prompt still there when I stood still if I couldn’t Rez in the first place. No prompt = No rez and vice versa.
