Unable to purchase items. Gallery and Store not updating

Hello guys. A few weeks ago I found a few issues:

  • I couldn’t buy things from neither the gallery nor the store. Prices don’t show up on the gallery and when trying to buy things on the store it gets stuck on “Requesting price…”
  • Gallery and store didn’t update, showing the messages “Loading items…” and “Store refresh in less than a minute” (battlepass items and Juno appear on the gallery though).
  • Can’t see unowned Gallery items unless I manually check the Unowned filter.

I waited for the new season to see if this would be magically fixed but nothing.

I can play games no problem. Tried a relogin, a computer restart, checking the game files, deleting the cache files, reinstalling, and deleting every file related to OW, Battlenet and Blizzard, all to no avail. In fact, deleting every single file I could find and reinstalling later made me unable to access the Shop at all.

All of that tells me that apparently the Shop loaded because I had the old files, but now it doesn’t load because of those files being deleted and being unable to update. I have no idea how the inner game systems work and I’m not that tech savy so it’s all speculation.

I’ve searched about similar issues and people said to check if the system clock was set correctly; it’s true that I’ve been tinkering with the clock but as far as I can tell it’s been set back to normal (I think this probably has something to do with the problem but I have no idea how to fix it besides a fresh Windows reinstall).

Eventually I installed the game on my SteamDeck and everything was fine on there so I guess it must be a problem with my Windows or the files inside it.

Also, as far as I can tell, Overwatch is the only game I have issues with.

I live in the EU and play from Steam but originally I played from Battlenet, if that’s relevant.

If someone has some remote idea of what could the issue be I would greatly appreciate some info.
