Unable to Disable Nvidia Reflex flash indicator latest patch

As discussed in the following link:

It is no longer possible to disable the flash indicator for those with older setups (even on the latest video drivers) causing a white box to show up on the left side of the screen whenever you left click. This happens even if you have a monitor that does not support it.

Disabling Nvidia Reflex in options does nothing and there are no options within the nvidia control panel. Nvidia Geforce experience is also not a solution (performance button does not exist), nor should it be to install outside software to override a feature that I feel causes more problems than solves (negligible latency at the potential cost of fps).

I think all Windows 7 users are affected since 473.04 is the latest possible driver available for that system.

I still do believe this is a bug within the game itself.

yep have the same issue

so far i tried a few things and what i found out what works for me,i did the nvidia cleanup tool, what it basically does is it removes all ur drivers and settings,so after i did that i installed the september version of the driver not the january and i tried playing and there r no white squares, try it guys and let me know if it works…

do you have a versionnumber to reference by any chance?

Yep no way to turn it off anymore. Thing is my card is perfect for OW still. I’m using a 1060. regardless of nvidia, how hard can it be to just implement the option manually again?

Driver Version: 472.12 - Release Date: Mon Sep 20, 2021

Can confirm this old version is a temporary solution to the problem. At least for me. Did a full cleanup and went with this, and now its not flashing.
