Unable to connect/login to Overwatch

Tonight when I tried to login and play, the game failed to connect and log me in. Not sure why since it was working fine for me yesterday.

I’ve tried:
-Logging in manually
-Running a Repair on the game install
-Restarting my router/modem
-Restarting my PC

I also tried to play the game on my Xbox Series S and had the same problem, resulting in an error message saying "LOST CONNECTION TO GAME SERVER (LC-202)

Nothing has worked. Can’t tell if its an issue on my end or if it’s an actual server problem. I’m in the US, East Coast.

Is anybody else experiencing this issue???

EDIT:
Selecting the “Europe” region let me connect and play, seems like a server issue?

Routing issue between your location and the server, that’s why the other region worked.

Is there anything I can do about that then? I don’t mind using another region but its odd to me that I can’t connect to the Americas now even though it was working fine before.

is there anything I can do on PlayStation? I have the same issue

You can call the ISP and let them know, since they would need to work with routing peers they pay to fix the problem.

I’ll keep that in mind for next time, I just tried to connect again with the America region and it worked.
