Ult voiceline for Mercy

Please, turn it back to “I’ll be watching over you”.
It feel suck when “Heroes actually die in my ult” and not suite the ult at all.
I beg you, please.

“I will watch over you!” Sounds so cheesy, though… I preferred her PTR one where she said something like “Amplifying biotic stream!” That actually fits the ult. “Heroes never die!” Is nice. Fits Mercy but not the ult.

I have another idea in mind: they should change Valkyrie so it’s actually better for healing and more like real defensive ult that can keep people alive.

But that’s probably not going to happen though…

Im mercy main too but never ask for it though. For me this voiceline is for Resurrect and good old memories
Blizzard do this like they want to hit you with the joke on the face.

“LOL your friend die in your ult. What did you say again?”

I prefer heroes never die because it sounds better, yea maybe it didnt really fits the ultimate, but still it sounds 5 times better

“Onwards to victory”, even though the current ultimate can barely change the outcome of a team fight, I feel fits more than the current “heroes never die”. Without meaning to sound rude, I feel this is done as a teaser to those who liked Mercy in the past and want to see her looked at one more time again due to the current state they left her in.

I think what they could do is make “I’ll watch over you” a part of some other skin, so the people who liked it could still hear it. As for me… yeah, I don’t think “heroes never die” fits anymore. It just felt weird hearing it, and “til Valhalla!” feels too ethereal and not “battle-edged” enough for what is essentially an initiation-ult. I think I would probably want something brand new that feels better, but I seriously doubt that would happen.
