Oh, hai Blizz… I had a posted about this issue a few weeks ago. Enough players had the same issue that my post had three pages of comments, however now that the forum website has been updated, the post seems to have been deleted. I wouldn’t be so irked by this, but I also see that this issue is STILL NOT on the “known problems” list.
So, again: The UI/CROSSHAIRS/HUD is missing from highlights. This issue seems to have been varying from player to player… For the most part my issue is specific to saved highlights.
It would nice to get a response that this issue has been acknowledge. I know a lot of people save their highlights for their social/gaming communities and this is kinda screwing them over. Also, its pretty lame to push janky updates and then not acknowledge bugs for weeks at a time.

Oh, I see that you have updated text entries to a requirment of at least 20 characters… So I can’t just “bump” my own post. Would y’all like me to write you a novel of salt about your game? Or ya’ gonna fix that bug?
Watch, this bug will probably resolve itself March 8 when the Lunar Event ends. Its probably some borked code that is integrated into the event. I imagine that is why Blizz isn’t putting in the effort to fix it.
I can’t imagine an issue like this has gone unnoticed, when Blizz themselves advertises Overwatch Twitch streams on their app. Highiglights, Streaming, all that jazz is just as much part of Overwatch and OWL’s revenue because they use it for advertising.
Tsk tsk. I should just go play more LOL, this game is a mess. Ah ha ha.

Same problem here. I noticed the cursor shows when I replay a highlight in the game itself but whenever I save it and play the clip it’s gone.

It really feels like this issue is being largely ignored by blizzard, it’s been going on for 2 weeks now and as far as I know, it’s affecting everyone.

At this point it’s beyond redundant to say “yup, same here”. I really don’t want to go back to manually recording these (when my computer froze half the time I tried recording them), as they always come out spotty on the first/last frame and the dynamics are off due to my personal audio settings.

This is why I’m wondering if its an issue directly related to the Lunar Event, and if they are just going to wait it out when the event ends March 8. That may be more effective than pushing another update, in their perspective, anyways.
I dunno, I do find the lack of attention its getting to be very frustrating.

Same here, UI is completely missing from SAVED highlights.
UI working perfectly fine in normal highlight (On the “Today’s top 5”), even when saved - but as soon as you view the same clip under the “Saved” tab, everything is gone: Killfeed, abilities, crosshair, etc…
Also, I find it worth noting that the actual quality of the saved video clips have plummeted after the above bug came to be. Even on ultra quality and 60fps 1080p - the saved highlight looks very comparable to a low-quality replay I have from before the bug. There is a complete lack of Crispness and fine edges, which I think is a shame.

Ahahaha Okay so thought I was just being crazy. Cause first thought I had hit alt+z but no. This has been a thing for HOW LONG NOW? I hope that a fix comes even if it IS after the Lunar event v.v

Blizzard were tracking the old thread before the forum update, hopefully that means they are working on it.
