It usually takes until the third round to see if a comeback is possible at all.
I had an enemy tank declare a gg after they got beaten once.
My team pleaded him to stay as a comeback is possible even after 2 losses.
He didn’t leave.
His team won 4-3 in the end.
So far the only games I’ve had with leavers were DCs and they returned soon after. And I guess one before the match started but that doesn’t count lol

Same did 4 matchs, first one it was just me and a mei left 2v5. Then next one was me and 2 others, then 3rd one the entire enemy team left after 1st round. 4th game was the first and only full game of stadium I played.
The only leavers i had were in 1 match. The entire enemy team left and nullified the whole match, giving my team no xp.
The mode needs comp penalties so it doesn’t have as many leavers. It has no backfills after all.
It’s crazy to judge the mode based on people leaving. People leave in MR and it’s still a great game. People leave in all multiplayer games. Literally all of them. Whether it’s valorant, apex, CoD, csgo, destiny, like it doesn’t matter what game it is it has people leaving. So all games where someone can leave in the middle are now bad modes.
Leaving is an issue when there are no backfills.
The staying team not getting a win when the entire enemy team leaves is an issue.
That’s all comp modes. Literally all of them. And yes that leaver bug is an issue. Bugs will get worked out.
I hope so, it’s really annoying.
I’ll just stay in my matches even if my team leaves. If not just to give the enemies their earned xp, then to keep my leaving teammates from queueing for another game.
I shall be their personal leaver penalty 
They shall have to put up with abandoning me.
The mode has nothing to do with having leavers
Ppl are just sore losers and will leave any mode no matter what it is

I’ve had people leave in every mode that I’ve ever played. And in every game that I’ve ever played. Do you hate every mode? In every game? That you’ve ever played? lol.
