My aim here is to help everyone, including myself keep up to speed with little bits of lore snippets that are revealed outside of cinematics, comics and character profiles. Lets catagorise it by character to make it easier.

I’m not going to remember a lot of stuff, so the more you learn or know just give me a heads up and I’ll edit this post as frequently as possible, I just feel like we all need this. Please source any new information on your post.

ANA Pharah is Ana and Sams daughter.

ASHE Ashe and Mcree confirmed to not be in a romantic relationship and have never been. Despite the antagonism between Ashe and Mcree, Bob and Mcree actually have a good relationship. BOB stands for Big Omnic Butler

BASTION

BRIG has several cats and one of them is named Mitzi. Favorite drink: Beer

D.VA -Not a starcraft pro despite what you heard.

DOOMFIST

GENJI The dragons Cinematic is voiced by his father. Several body parts and Reproductive organs remain intact.

HANZO The dragon Cinematic is voiced by his father. Does NOT have prosthetic legs

JUNKRAT

LUCIO

MCREE Ashe and Mcree confirmed to not be in a romantic relationship and have never been. Bob did not rip off Mcrees arm. Was present/Living on a farm early in life.

MEi Confirmed to age normally after the events of Rise and Shine. Favorite drink: Tea

MERCY Mercy was 17 and visiting from University in the artwork where she is present with a young Pharah.

MOIRA The bunny Moira has been pictured experimenting on is confirmed to be alive and well. MC has also jokingly indicated the bunny is called ‘Better Angela’ but take this with a grain of salt for now.

ORISA

PHARAH confirmed to have mixed Native American and Egyptian Heritage. Her mother is Ana and her father is Sam (Sam can be seen in a panel eating with Pharah in the Reflections comic)

REAPER atheist according to his dog tag. Collecting souls is a game only Mechanic.

REINHARDT

ROADHOG

SOLDIER middle name revealed to be francis and is also catholic.

SOMBRA Real name Olivia Colomar. Favorite drink: Mezcal

SYMMETRA Confirmed to be on the Autistic Spectrum. Has a prosthetic but we are still unclear if it is her arm or not.

TORB A number of the children shown in the Reflections comic are his Grandkids.

TRACER Confirmed to age normally. Tracer identifies as a lesbian.

WIDOW Will age normally despite the experiments done to her.

Idk if it’s worth mentioning but didn’t Chu also confirm Hanzo doesn’t have prosthetics for legs?
I think he confirmed Lucio does though. Unsure about that though lmao.

Doomfist supposely lost one arm, but is seen with two in the prison cinematic. Don’t think we have anything confirming which is truth.
His official bio on playoverwatch says he lost an arm tho

I’m not 100% sure on these except the Hanzo fact though.

Lucio’s father work for vishkar and made that weapon sound thinggy he is using but vishkar patented his fathers work so he has to steal it from them.

And another thing why is Moira not on your list?

Moira is the reason reaper has that ability we see today, although some thought it was mercys failed healing experiment.

Question: I had a lore question that all my friends and I argue about whether certain characters are actually amputee,s or whether they just have sort of a mechanical thing on their arm. Mainly, we were talking about Lucio, Symmetra, Pharah and Hanzo.

Michael : Yes, I can do this. Lucio no, Symmetra yes, Pharah no, and Hanzo no (he has delicate ankles). I am going to regret that answer. Right as I get off here, I am gonna think, you know what? Story idea.

I thought someone told me Lucios was confirmed prosthetic, though it was probably bc I drew him without and they went ‘muh headcanon’ xD
