For some reason, when I get watchable drops from twitch, it usually works. But if I try to get the battlepass skips from the prime drops, it doesn’t go to my account, but my brother’s Overwatch account, despite it not being connected to my prime or twitch. I have reached out to Blizzard and Amazon multiple times to try to resolve this, and both sides have said its an issue only the other side can fix.
I just want to have my brother’s account to be removed from my account so any drops only go to my account, but no matter what I do (I have unlinked and relinked my twitch/prime account so many times) I still cannot get it to work.
I am also going to add that I opened up a ticket 3 months ago and blizzard just basically said “oopsie sorry” and said there is nothing to do and linked to the forums. The reason I didn’t post this sooner is because that really pissed me off so I gave up but it is STILL happening. I WANT MY WAVERIDER DVA SKIN BACK THAT YOU ROBBED FROM ME
Amazon Prime Gaming content has nothing to do with Twitch and is NOT a “drop”, despite them advertising it on Twitch. You need to connect your Blizzard account directly with the Amazon Prime Gaming account, under the Prime Gaming site’s interface.
Go on Prime Gaming’s site: gaming (dot) amazon (dot) com and login.
Find Overwatch’s game content item on the site, click the “Claim” button, and you will be given a popup to “Link Account”.
In your case, if you are not given an option to link and you say it’s going to your brother’s account, then it means your brother already linked his account with the Prime Gaming. If you want to get it on your account instead, you’ll have to ask him to login to his Blizzard account, unlink his account from Amazon Prime, and then you’ll be able to relink your own account using the method I mentioned before.
Prime bonus is only one per account, so you have to work it out with your brother, instead of trying to force customer support or unnecessarily making posts in the Bug Report forum.
