Just booked my flight omg, I already have the nervous flight feeling but I’m excited 
(and scared to fly)
I’ve been traveling a lot the past 2 months and have gotten to meet some of my best friends who I have met through this game, one of those being Arcadium lol. Now I’m finally meeting one of my OG friends I’ve know for 5 years and have never met IRL. She hates OW but we met through Stevo’s community lol.
I hope I get to meet more friends of mine soon. I may hate this game at times but its community has been such a pivotal piece that has led to getting support, friendship, and love for the hardest moments and decisions of my life (dealing with the depression of being closeted and then getting courage to come out to my family). So I am grateful for Overwatch in a sense, despite how bad it may be it has given me the most meaningful friendships.
I’m curious to see, out of the OW content creators, who all is going to be at twitch con when I’m there.

I’ve met my WoW guild in person, but OW usually makes me want to fight people. Good for you for actually making friends, ha.

I met my buddy through my brother and OW like 5 yrs ago and now he’s unironically my best friend and we’ve never met. We say each (American) football season one of us will visit the other for a game but hasn’t happened yet. Life is expensive.

Yeeee! Some people may say that it’s sad or that you should go out more, but as long as you are happy and it’s something you love doing…then there is nothing to be sad about or regret when you get older. I’m enjoying my time with some of the best people, but they just happen to be thousands of miles away.
(Obviously you should go outside, it’s not healthy to stay in ALL day lol)

I went to Boston randomly in July to meet my best friend since I found out I had two weeks off work and it was so much fun, definitely recommend saving up for it.

Yeah, we were from all over the US. We’re irl buddies now (for about 12 years) and have met multiple times. Was most happy our tree druid and hunter made it from Hawaii. Thankfully, we ended up first meeting in my hometown in Texas since it was the most centralized for everyone, so I didn’t have to spend a bunch. I was a broke college kid at the time, so that was nice.

Tekken has been where I met the most friend both local from college tournaments to online. But two of my long time friends crossed over to ow 1 but never came back for ow 2.
The circle of life continued as some of my friends had kids that became my own teammates though they also left ow by the time they graduated highschool and college. Crazy how long this game has been out.
