remove heals, make aura personal, slightly buff primary fire damage and give a decent damage buff to boop. thats it he is a good DPS thats all he needs. lucio support is harmful to OW2, lucio DPS makes game healthier. to make it fair just make echo support as a trade

Maybe not “Make Lucio a DPS”, but I would like it if there was a DPS who had a similar wall-riding ability. A reverse Kiriko (a DPS modelled after a Support), if you will.

So in a game with seventeen DPS and eight supports, in which no one wants to play support, we’ll take one of the most popular, fun, and meta supports we do have, and make them a DPS?

All i want for Lucio is give him his old boop back.
And while we are at it make all supports fun to play. Give mercy her old Valkyrie damage pistol back. Rework Brig into a fun to play hero because that character is dead.

Yeah, let Lucio where he is, but turn back some heroes to their good versions.
Buff Mercy, buff Brig, make Sym support again and so on.
mercy is okay she could use help at lower elo bring she is fin she just sucks at rush meta so no and sym no she was a horrible as a support so no
Maybe Mei can be a Tank , then Doom can go away from tank and become DPS again.

The game needs more supports and people that play them anyway, not less. echo isnt nearly as popular

Lucio generally seems like a fun hero to play, especially once you master his mobility and stuff. I mean, he might not be for everyone per se, but we really don’t need a fun option taken out of the Support role. Especially when the Support role isn’t seen as very fun to play overall - at least currently.

He has one of the most balanced and fair kits in the history of OW. OG Heroes like Lucio, Rein, Soldier, etc are extremely well designed. I really like simpler kits.
New kits are incredibly bloated. I’m worried about reaching worrying levels of power creep. Compare Ramattra’s kit to Reinhardt’s. Different worlds.

I think it’s the other way around: OP’s the diving Lucio and he doesn’t want to be pestered to provide auras for his team. 
Actually sounds great. I feel like the entire point of picking Lucio is to skate, and having to be near your team is a bit of a contradiction, cause you cant go too far. Reddit Lucio should be the main gameplay

Just remove the tank passive for lucio only and boom. Hes a dps in the support category lol.
I mean. If zen isnt allowed to volly in kiriko ult and some heroes dont have the full passive of their role. I dont see why it would be a problem lol.
In all seriousness. Lucio is one of the most fun supports. BUT he has less damage than zen and can be out damaged by a good brig. You shouldnt base a role change idea solely based on one playstyle. Especially if thats the playstyle that hes had for 6 almost 7 years.
It is at higher ranks. You support your team with speed and making a 5v5 into a 4v4. In fact thats how hes been played at higher ranks for AGES. he has a good defensive ult and really good utility. His healing is not what you should be focusing on. Same goes for mercy brig and zen.
Healing is a side effect from an already amazing kit.
