Tune Briggite down a little

Her shield bash stun does way too much damage for a stun that is on 5 seconds cooldown, her whip shot does 70 damage, and that’s too much for either a knockback ability or a stun.

I like the aggressive playstyle heroes, but Brigitte completely denies the ability to even play them with some space to breath.

She’s such a pain in the a*s for me and pretty sure for othere people as well.

That’s because she counters Divers. And this game is about swapping and countering the enemy. Moving on…

She counters tanks more than she does dive. I had a Brig 1v1 me as Zarya and win because of how often she gets her stun up and because she could block my primary fire.

I do gotta agree that her shield bash does a little too much damage. I think the whip shots fine since it knocks them out of range, so unlike pharah or lucio she cant continue easily

She’s already strong in a 1v1, but good thing this game isn’t about that! Not to mention you could have been low energy as Zarya and wouldn’t have won anyways

Either increasing the cooldown on both or reducing the damage of each by 20 would make it a better exprience for players who don’t like the hold W+M1 to win.

Do not engage her within 5 meters and stay away from ledges she can push you off of. Her shield is fragile and doesn’t cover much of her body, peripheral damage (nearby rockets or grenades for example) can go through her shield (or around). She also cannot cover more than one side, so hitting her from two angles often works.

She’s built to deal with people who get too close and thrives on teammates who take aggro for her. Work with your team to eliminate her ASAP if you deal with someone who’s good at using her. One reason I enjoy using Brigitte as my new main is that I can actually punish Genji and Tracer for getting too close if I hit them. The two heroes who are obnoxiously constantly jumping over your head or teleporting behind you. While my other main hero: Soldier 76, requires more skill in aiming and tracking, Brigitte just needs timing and combo finesse.

You may just need to change your approach against her.

wouldn’t you lose to reinhardt the same way if he only meleed after using fire strike?

If only she had counters who can annihilate her… Oh wait. For a team based game, there is A LOT of crying about 1vs1.

I’ve tried, and Brigitte doesn’t win 1v1 against Reinhardt. Her damage isn’t high enough to compete against him. I haven’t tried with her Rally active though, but Brigitte isn’t really made to fight tanks. Brigitte can actually lose vs good Tanks, Zarya can lose if she’s not charged to maximum; Minimum charge Zarya can die but since it’s a team game, why would they be alone?

No, because you can grenade jump away from a Rein or use the knockback from his hammer+personal bubble to create distance between the two of you.

You can’t do that against a Brigitte who has more range than Rein and a 1 second stun on a 5 second cooldown.

Brigitte loses to Pharah because of distance. She loses to Junk Rat because grenades are good against shields and armor. She can lose to Reaper because of his high burst damage. She can lose to anyone who keeps outside her short range and most certainly loses if the other team works together and hit her from two angles because her shield only covers one spot.

I would raise the the cooldown of her Stun, then see how she performs before applying any other nerfs.

Yeah, a lot of people don’t seem to realize what Blizzard is actually doing lately with heroes like Moira and Brigitte - they’re taking the wind out of the lone wolf type players’ sails.

Technically, it is possible for Brigitte to win against Reinhardt, but only if she uses her ultimate which should be reserved for Overtime purposes.

5 seconds cooldown on a stun that doesn’t require you to aim at all, and also stuns through almost everything, and does the most damage out of the close range stuns (excluding traps and RP which are ridiculously easy to evade) is a bit overtuned, don’t you think so?

Yeah. That’s why I said they should raise the cooldown of her stun, not lower it.

For diving heroes yes she makes them struggle but this is for what they created for for counter dive and diving heroes
