Truth Serum - Have you ever cheated?

and im not just talking OW here…just in general…have you ever cheated in a game?

lets see who has the longest p-------inocchio nose

ill take the first drink/dose

Ahem…

Ive never cheated in an online game…at worst ive used a cheat code here or there on a game that has them (and they are known) AFTER ive already completed the game…but never in a competitive game…and certainly not anything that involves running third party software

My steam account has a VAC ban…the result of allowing my cousin to play CS (MANY) years ago (dont loan your account people)…thankfully it hasnt mattered much since i dont play any online games where that would apply to me…nor do i want to…

I’ve cheated in most of the offline games I’ve played.

I hacked my wii and 3DS and played all the super moario games with cheats. I used a walk through on legend of zelda breath of the wild. And I used reggie (IDK how to spell it it’s been a while) which is a kinda hack level editor program to make my own levels in new super mario bros.

Yep. I ran modded Cod 5 Wii servers and gave all sorts of random crap to the entire lobby. Emphasis on entire lobby, including the other team. Otherwise I’m really uptight about this sorta thing.

Edit: I forgot two others in multiplayer:

In borderlands 1 you could have a modded shield that instantly killed your entire team unless you had one that made you invincible, so I had one of the latter on standby, though not in active use. I also gave myself top tier weapons, but still within the range of normal generation, and also did this for BL2.

Same with pokemon, once I got the requisite perfect IV dittos and breeding stock that would be needed to do it normally, and tested the process a few times I’d just directly generate otherwise valid builds to save time.

Grinds for multiplayer are stupid and in full irony I see the uneven starting field as a stain upon competitive integrity. I don’t play MMOs and this is a large part of why.

In single player lmao I rebalance games regularly

In an online game? No.
Back in the day way back when? Of course.
I loved cheating in games like KoToR to make me totally OP.

yada yada yada…sombra main…

it makes so much sense…

you have been exposed…in what way?

I cheat in all the offline games I play after I’m done with the main story. It’s the alternative to playing all the side quests.

Never online but I couldn’t help myself and used cheats in the old pokemen games

At first, I thought you meant actual cheating, but cheat codes? Yeah. I used to go on CheatCC all the time.

cheating of all types…though i guess not relationships…lol

I remember using the white/black buttons on original Xbox Duke controller to refill health and MP in Morrowind if you did a specific combination

I cheated in Maplestory at a time a long time ago, and Transfermice, and a few ‘cheats’ if you want to call them that to mod games for bigger badder bosses. But never in anything competitive. I’d cheat to skip grind, but not to win.

Yes, I romanced everyone, at the same time in fallout 4. Ol’ Mal likes to stir the pot.

Ehh
Item smuggling in mk8
The occasional dev command input on borderlands.
Pretty tame compared to some other people.

What? No. Winning with the assistance of an outside program wouldn’t feel like winning at all.
