I don’t even know why i have to speak out loud about this and i don’t know why it hasn’t been fixed months ago.
Her ult builds too fast, that is the main concern of players in gm+, this is what makes her above the medium power level. It finishes fights before they start, and she has one every fight which is insanely powerful.
Also her blink>melee>recall is too strong. It is a free damage animation cancel. I’m sorry, didn’t blizzard remove animation cancels to avoid free damage, especially melee animation cancels? yes they did, so what is the deal with this one?
Nerf her ult charge, and remove this animation cancel which 90% of players won’t even notice, but it will make a huge, huge difference in higher ranks.
Have you ever played Tracer? Tracers ults is one of the hardest, if not the hardest, ult to land in the game, with most pros having trouble consistently landing them unless they just throw it into a clumped up team, in which case is said teams fault for playing so grouped up, Tracers ult has a fast charge rate because you just throw it and go.
You say that removing the melee blink combo wouldn’t even be noticed outside of higher levels.
That is exactly why it remains. And should continue to do so.
It is incredibly hard to pull off and no one in lower levels is effective with it, so why worry about it?
And for those it does effect, it is a nice bit of mechanical skill that should remain to differentiate between the quality of the Tracer player.
Pulse bomb could maybe be toned down a bit, but then again even the best players just throw it out because it is garbage outside of a Grav. It literally hits the floor and gets no one more often than not, if you are lucky you get a pick.
No one in plat or below does it effectively. On diamond and masters it is fairly hit and miss.
You only start seeing Tracers who consistently land them in GM. Heck even GM Tracers like Dafran and Kragie seem to get it off 50% of the time.
The melee still has to be within melee range. Assuming you are doing the melee blink combo, you have to basically predict where abouts they will move and just so happen to be the perfect blink distance away from them.
It can hardly be called “trivial” when the best Tracers about don’t even have much luck securing finishing blows with it on a consistent basis.
If you are refering to the melee and recall only then yes that is easier. I’d agree
The Pulse Bomb is the least of my worries. It’s her damage and her range that I’m concerned about. Being Zenyatta or a Tank, Tracer can still wither you down at a significant rate without having to blink into a dangerous reach
That’s funny because one of the OWL Tracers basically said if you are Masters or below worry about your aim before you worry about the combo as it’s far too inconsistent to waste your energy on unless you are at the top level and every little bit helps.
LOL WHAT?! Bastion getting pampered? They literally nerfed Brigette because she gave Tracer a hard time. Tracer and Genji always get preferential treatment, Tracer especially. Bastion has been left in one of the worst states any character has ever been for months.
Dont be so biased. Lucios ult gets so easily countered and takes way longer to charge then Tracers. He doesnt get it every teamfight (unlike Tracer), and it doesnt always work when he does do it. On top of that, Tracers is way more impactful lol. Get your head out of your backside.

And yet he is still effectively picked and able to single handily melt an entire team within seconds. To shields, to healers, to defense, to dps.
I just can’t wait for inevitable buff where he’s able to move around WHILE in his sentry form.
