I know I am a bit too late, but yeah, Sakurai revealed the last fighter and… It wasn’t Tracer :neutral_face:.
RIP all “Tracer 4 Smash” and “Tracer confirmed as a SSBU fighter” topics…

Miis in Cuphead and Sans costumes: Don’t cry Tracer, every indie has its day, maybe next game…

Overwatch isn’t an Indie game tho? But yeah idk why people wanted her in smash anyway. I’m happy with all the characters that got in

Would rather have had Waluigi or Tracer. Or Doomguy or Master Chief (at least run and gun would be funny).

Sora’s moveset looks bland and I am unimpressed. I’m no kingdom hearts fan so I don’t get any of the references or satisfaction that it’s Sora but I expected to AT LEAST be happy with the stage music or cool gimmick, of which he has none.

Would rather have other characters than Tracer for Smash. Doomfist sounds way better than Tracer. Heck Reinhardt as well. Pin somebody off the edge be epic in Smash

Do you know what an “Indie” Game is?? It’s a game made by independent developers, that don’t have a bigger company giving them a budget or whatever, and is usually made by a small team of people.

Overwatch is made by Team 4 of Blizzard, and has Hundreds of developers and other people involved. the literal opposite of an Indie developer

I wanted Rayman but Sora is a perfect conclusion for the game.

tbh who even plays OW anymore especially on consoles.

I mean, he is sword fighter, so… :man_shrugging:.

But at the same time, he was the most requested character, so, I guess it is a win for he Smash community.

I wonder the legal stuff required to add Sora, Sakurai and Nintendo had to face a company that is even more protective than Nintendo: Disney itself… :zipper_mouth_face: :grimacing:.

Yeah but Banjo is a much more recognizable character than Tracer. Overwatch community is a small number in the gaming world.
